3. Installation

The Eonon P6 is designed for convenient and tool-free installation, suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. It is applicable to DC12V-24V vehicles.

3.1 Handlebar Mounting

1. Install the provided bracket to your motorcycle's handlebar using the screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
2. Attach the screen to the bracket. Adjust its angle for optimal viewing, then tighten it securely.
3. Confirm the screen is stable and does not obstruct your view or controls.

3.2 Wiring

Connect the power cord to your motorcycle's battery. The red wire connects to the positive terminal, and the black wire connects to the negative terminal. For key-on/off functionality, the remote wire (yellow) should be connected to an ignition-switched power source. If an ignition-switched source is not available, connect the remote wire directly to the positive battery terminal, but remember to manually disconnect the unit to prevent battery drain when the motorcycle is off.

3.3 Camera Installation

4.1 CarPlay Connection

1. On the P6 screen, click "CarLink" then select "CarPlay".
2. Turn on your iPhone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
3. In your iPhone's Bluetooth device list, find "EONON_XXXX" and enter the pairing password displayed on the P6 screen.
4. Wait for your iPhone to display a pop-up window for CarPlay in-car authorization, then tap to pair. Once connected, CarPlay will launch automatically.

4.2 Android Auto Connection

1. On the P6 screen, click "CarLink" then select "Android Auto".
2. Turn on your Android phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
3. In your Android phone's Bluetooth device list, find "EONON_XXXX" and enter the pairing password displayed on the P6 screen.
4. Once connected, Android Auto will launch automatically.

Note on Bluetooth Audio: When using CarPlay or Android Auto, your phone's audio will typically route through the P6. To route audio directly to your Bluetooth helmet headset or earbuds, you may need to adjust the audio output settings on your smartphone (e.g., in Spotify or phone settings) to select your headset instead of CarPlay/Android Auto.

5. Operation

5.1 Wired Remote Control

The wired remote control allows for quick adjustments while riding, minimizing distractions.

• Short press (top/bottom buttons): Take photos.
• Long press (top/bottom buttons for 3 seconds): Lock the current video recording.
• Short press (center button): Answer or hang up calls (compatible with iPhone only).
• Long press (center button for 3 seconds): Enter the tire pressure interface, recording interface, CarPlay interface, or main interface. This also turns the touch function on/off.

5.2 Main Interface & Navigation

The main interface displays real-time speed, compass, and time. You can access CarLink (for CarPlay/Android Auto), Dash Cam, Audio (Navigation), and Settings directly from the home screen.

6. Media Recording (Dual Camera DVR)

The Eonon P6 features a dual camera DVR system to capture your rides. The front camera records in 4K resolution, and the rear camera records in 1K resolution, both with a 110° wide-angle view. The system supports loop recording, ensuring continuous footage by overwriting the oldest files when the memory card is full. You can also manually capture photos or lock important video segments to prevent them from being overwritten.

8. Troubleshooting

• Battery Drain: If the unit drains your motorcycle battery when the ignition is off, ensure the red power wire is connected to an ignition-switched power source, not directly to the battery. If direct battery connection is necessary, manually disconnect the unit to prevent battery drain when the motorcycle is off.
• TPMS Not Displaying: If tire pressure values are not appearing, ensure the sensors are correctly installed and paired. Access the TPMS interface on the unit and follow the pairing instructions in the user manual. You may need to tighten the sensors to activate them.
• Bluetooth Audio Routing: If audio from CarPlay/Android Auto is not routing to your helmet headset, check your smartphone's audio output settings.
