2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup

1. Attach the Safety Guard: Align the safety guard with the trimmer head and secure it firmly.
2. Install the Auxiliary Handle: Slide the auxiliary handle onto the shaft and adjust its position for comfortable grip, then tighten the locking mechanism.
3. Insert the Battery: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Slide the battery into the battery compartment on the handle until it clicks into place.
4. Adjust Shaft Length: The telescopic pole can be adjusted from 36" to 44" to suit your height. Loosen the red collar, extend or retract the shaft, and then tighten the collar securely.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting the Trimmer

To start the trimmer, press the safety switch located on the handle, then squeeze the trigger. The trimmer will begin operating immediately.

5.2 Trimming Mode

Hold the trimmer firmly with both hands. Swing the trimmer from side to side, keeping the cutting line parallel to the ground. The automatic line feed system will extend the line as needed during operation.

5.3 Edging Mode

To convert to edging mode, press the red button near the trimmer head and rotate the head 90 degrees. The integrated wheel allows you to guide the trimmer along edges for a clean, precise cut. Ensure the wheel is on the hard surface (e.g., sidewalk, driveway) and the cutting line is over the grass edge.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Spool Replacement

When the cutting line runs out, replace the spool. Press the tabs on the spool cover to remove it. Take out the empty spool and insert a new one, ensuring the line is threaded through the eyelet. Replace the cover securely.

6.2 Battery Care

Charge batteries fully before first use. Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures. Use only the provided charger for optimal battery life.

6.3 Cleaning and Storage

After each use, remove the battery and clean the trimmer head and guard with a damp cloth. Store the trimmer in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children.
