4. Setup & Installation

4.1 Mounting the Lights

The Auxbeam V-Ultra Series lights come with adjustable brackets for flexible mounting options. Common mounting locations include the roof, A-pillar/windshield, or bumper.

  • Attach the adjustable bracket to the light using the provided hardware.
  • Securely mount the lights to your desired location on the vehicle using the mounting kit. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the lights.
  • Adjust the angle of the lights to achieve the optimal beam pattern for your needs.

4.2 Wiring Instructions

The included DT wiring harness simplifies installation. Follow these steps for proper electrical connection:

  • Connect the DT male plugs from the lights to the corresponding DT female plugs on the wiring harness.
  • Connect the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the wiring harness to your vehicle's battery. The harness includes a fuse for protection.
  • Route the switch cable to a convenient location inside your vehicle's cabin.
  • Ensure all connections are secure and protected from environmental elements.

5. Operating Instructions

The Auxbeam V-Ultra Series lights offer multiple lighting modes controlled by the included switch.

5.1 Light Modes

Press the mode button on the switch to cycle through the following lighting options:

  • Mode 1: Main Light with Side Shooter ON (Amber Spotlights)
  • Mode 2: Amber DRL Light ON (Amber Daytime Running Lights)
  • Mode 3: All Lights ON (Main Light + Side Shooter + Amber DRL)

5.2 Protective Covers

Use the included black protective covers to protect the light lenses from scratches, dust, and sun exposure when not in use. These covers also help ensure compliance with road regulations in areas where auxiliary lights must be covered.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the lenses with a soft cloth and mild soap to maintain optimal light output. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
