2. Safety Information

4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Insert the 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Remove the insulating tab from the battery compartment to power on the device.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
The device will power on automatically after battery installation.

4.2. App Download and Bluetooth Connection
- Download the "Elitech Tools" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- On the IPT-100S, long press the Bluetooth button (refer to Section 5.2 for button functions) to activate Bluetooth pairing mode. The Bluetooth icon on the display will flash.
- Open the Elitech Tools app and search for nearby devices. Select "IPT-100S" to connect.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth icon on the device display will become solid.

4.3. Sensor Selection
The IPT-100S supports both internal and external sensors. You can switch between them with a single click.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Display Overview
The 4.5-inch LCD display provides clear readings of temperature, humidity, time, and other indicators.

5.4. Smart Alarm Function
Set custom high and low limits for temperature and humidity within the Elitech Tools app. The device will trigger an alert if readings fall outside these predefined ranges, providing critical value protection.
5.5. Temperature Unit Switching
You can switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) units directly on the device by long-pressing the appropriate button (refer to Section 5.2) or through the Elitech Tools app settings.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator on the display shows low power, replace all three AAA batteries. Refer to Section 4.1 for battery installation instructions.
6.2. Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the device is dry before use.
6.3. Mounting Options
The IPT-100S can be mounted using its strong magnet on metallic surfaces or hung via the integrated hanging hole. It also features an adjustable bracket for tabletop use.

- Device not powering on: Check battery installation and ensure the insulating tab has been removed. Replace batteries if necessary.
- Cannot connect via Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the device and your mobile phone. Make sure the device is in pairing mode (Bluetooth icon flashing). Restart both the device and the app.
- Inaccurate readings: Ensure the sensor is not obstructed and is placed in a stable environment. Allow sufficient time for readings to stabilize after placement or power-on.
- App not displaying data: Verify Bluetooth connection. Ensure the app has necessary permissions on your phone.
