3. Setup
3.1. Unboxing
Carefully remove the airsoft gun and its accessories from the packaging. Inspect all components for any signs of damage. The packaging typically includes the airsoft gun and one magazine.

3.2. CO2 Cartridge Installation
This airsoft gun is powered by a 12-gram CO2 cartridge. Ensure the airsoft gun is unloaded and the safety is engaged before proceeding.
- Locate the magazine release button, typically on the side of the grip, and press it to remove the magazine from the airsoft gun.
- At the bottom of the magazine, you will find a small screw or lever. Loosen or open this mechanism to reveal the CO2 cartridge chamber.
- Insert a new 12-gram CO2 cartridge into the chamber with the narrow neck facing upwards, towards the piercing pin.
- Tighten the screw or close the lever firmly until the CO2 cartridge is pierced and sealed. You may hear a small hiss of gas, which is normal. Do not overtighten.
- Ensure the cartridge is securely seated and there are no audible leaks.
3.3. BB Loading
The magazine holds 11 rounds of 6mm plastic airsoft BBs.
- With the magazine removed from the airsoft gun, locate the follower spring at the bottom of the BB channel.
- Pull the follower spring down to the bottom of the channel and hold it in place, often with a small notch or tab.
- Carefully drop 6mm plastic airsoft BBs into the loading port at the top of the magazine. Ensure BBs are clean and free of debris.
- Once loaded (up to 11 BBs), release the follower spring gently to allow the BBs to be held in place.
- Insert the loaded magazine back into the airsoft gun until it clicks securely into place.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Engaging/Disengaging Safety
The Glock 19 Gen3 airsoft gun features a trigger safety mechanism. To engage the safety, ensure the trigger is not depressed. The trigger cannot be pulled unless the small lever in the center of the trigger is also depressed. To disengage, simply place your finger on the trigger and depress both the main trigger and the central lever simultaneously.
4.2. Firing
Once the CO2 cartridge and BBs are loaded, and the safety is disengaged:
- Aim the airsoft gun at a safe target, ensuring a clear backstop and no obstructions.
- Place your finger on the trigger.
- Smoothly pull the trigger rearward until the airsoft gun fires. This model is a non-blowback design, meaning the slide does not cycle with each shot.
- After firing, release the trigger to reset it for the next shot.
4.3. Magazine Release
To remove the magazine, locate the magazine release button on the left side of the grip, near the trigger guard. Press this button firmly, and the magazine will drop free from the airsoft gun. This allows for quick reloading or unloading.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your airsoft gun.
5.1. Cleaning
- Exterior Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior of the airsoft gun after each use to remove dirt, dust, and fingerprints. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Barrel Cleaning: Periodically clean the inner barrel using a cleaning rod with a small piece of lint-free cloth or a specialized airsoft barrel swab. This helps maintain accuracy and prevents BB jams.
5.2. CO2 Seal Care
The seals that hold the CO2 gas are crucial for performance. If you notice gas leaks or inconsistent power, the seals may need attention.
- Lubrication: Apply a small amount of silicone oil (specifically designed for airsoft guns) to the CO2 piercing seal on the magazine periodically. This helps keep the rubber seals pliable and prevents leaks.
- Storage: Do not store the airsoft gun with a pierced CO2 cartridge inside for extended periods, as this can put unnecessary pressure on the seals and lead to premature wear. Remove the CO2 cartridge after each use.
5.3. Storage
When not in use, store your airsoft gun in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure it is unloaded, and the CO2 cartridge is removed. Store it securely to prevent unauthorized access.
