5. Operating Instructions
Once assembled, your Arebos Raised Garden Bed is ready for use.
5.1 Filling the Planter Box
- Drainage Layer: For optimal drainage, consider adding a layer of gravel or broken pottery at the bottom of the planter box before adding soil.
- Soil: Fill the planter box with high-quality potting soil suitable for the plants you intend to grow. The capacity is approximately 75 liters. Leave a small gap from the top edge to prevent soil overflow when watering.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your raised garden bed.
- Cleaning: Clean the garden bed regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the rust-resistant coating.
- Drainage Check: Periodically check the drainage hole to ensure it is free from debris and soil, allowing for proper water flow.
- Rust Prevention: The alloy steel frame has a rust-resistant coating. However, prolonged exposure to harsh weather conditions or standing water can affect its durability. Inspect for any signs of rust and treat as necessary.
- Winter Storage: While weather-resistant, consider moving the garden bed to a sheltered location during extreme winter conditions to extend its lifespan.

7. Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their potential solutions:
- Waterlogging: If water is not draining, check the drainage hole for blockages (soil, roots, debris). Clear any obstructions. Ensure the garden bed is not placed on an uneven surface that might block the drainage.
- Instability/Wobbling: Re-check all assembly screws and nuts to ensure they are tightly fastened. Ensure the garden bed is placed on a flat, level surface.
- Difficulty Moving: If the wheels are stiff, check for debris caught in the wheel mechanism. Ensure the garden bed is not overloaded beyond its weight capacity.
- Rust Spots: While rust-resistant, minor rust spots can occur over time. Clean the area, sand lightly if necessary, and apply a rust-inhibiting paint or coating.
