Setup

Charging the Device

1. Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the charging base.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included), car charger, computer host, or power bank.
3. Place the electric fly swatter into the charging base. Ensure it is seated correctly.
4. The battery indicator lights on the handle will illuminate to show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours.

Operating Instructions

Manual Swatter Mode (ON1)

1. Slide the power switch on the side of the handle to the "ON1" position.
2. Press and hold the power button located on the handle. A red indicator light will turn on, signifying that the electric grid is active.
3. Swing the swatter towards the target insect. Upon contact, the insect will be zapped.
4. Release the power button to deactivate the electric grid.

Automatic Bug Zapper Mode (ON2)

1. Slide the power switch on the side of the handle to the "ON2" position.
2. Place the electric fly swatter into its charging base on a flat, stable surface.
3. The built-in UV lamp will activate, emitting a purple light to attract insects. The electric grid will remain active to zap insects that come into contact with it.
4. This mode is most effective in dark environments where the UV light can best attract insects.

Maintenance

Cleaning

• Ensure the device is turned OFF and unplugged from the charging base before cleaning.
• Use a dry, soft brush to gently remove any insect debris from the electric grid.
• Do not use water or cleaning solutions on the device.

Storage

• Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep the device fully charged if storing for extended periods to maintain battery health.

Troubleshooting

• Device not turning on or charging:
  • Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the charging base and the power source.
  • Verify that the power adapter or USB port is functional.
  • Check if the device is properly seated in the charging base.
  • Confirm the power switch is in the ON1 or ON2 position for operation.
• Ineffective zapping:
  • Ensure the device has sufficient battery charge.
  • In manual mode (ON1), confirm the power button is pressed and held during use.
  • In automatic mode (ON2), ensure the environment is dark enough for the UV light to effectively attract insects.
  • Clean any debris from the electric grid that might be obstructing contact.
