Setup

Unpacking

Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective films.

Handle Installation

The dehumidifier comes with detachable handles for enhanced portability. Attach the handles using the provided hardware and Allen wrench.

Video: This video demonstrates the step-by-step process of installing the detachable handles onto the Moiswell commercial dehumidifier, ensuring secure attachment for easy transport.

Placement

Place the dehumidifier in an area where the humidity is highest. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit (at least 12 inches) for proper air circulation. Avoid placing it against walls or furniture that could obstruct airflow. The unit should be placed on a level surface.

Drainage Options

The Moiswell Pioneer-XI offers two drainage methods:

  1. Built-in Pump Drainage: For continuous, automatic drainage, connect the included 16.4-foot drain hose to the pump drain outlet. This allows water to be pumped vertically or horizontally to a sink, drain, or outside.
  2. Gravity Drainage: For gravity-fed drainage, connect the included 6.5-foot drain hose to the gravity drain outlet. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow water to flow naturally to a suitable drain.

Unit Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or solvents, as these can damage the surface. Ensure no water enters the control panel or other electrical components.

Storage

If the unit will not be used for an extended period:

  1. Unplug the unit and drain any remaining water from both drain outlets.
  2. Clean the air filter and allow it to dry.
