6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On/Off
- To turn on the e-bike, insert the key into the battery lock and turn it to the "ON" position.
- Press and hold the power button on the LCD display for a few seconds until it illuminates.
- To turn off, press and hold the power button on the display until it shuts off, then turn the key to the "OFF" position and remove it.
6.2 Ride Modes
Your Qlife Triker Electric Bike offers three ride modes:
- Manual Mode: Ride the trike like a traditional bicycle using pedal power only. The motor provides no assistance.
- Pedal-Assist Mode (PAS): The motor provides assistance as you pedal. You can typically adjust the level of assistance (e.g., 1-3 or 1-5) using the '+' and '-' buttons on the display. Higher levels provide more motor power.
- Full Electric Mode (Throttle): Use the thumb throttle to engage the motor without pedaling. This mode provides full motor power up to the maximum speed.
6.3 LCD Display Functions
The LCD display shows important information such as current speed, battery level, odometer, trip distance, and pedal-assist level. Use the buttons on the display to cycle through information and adjust settings.

6.4 Braking
The trike is equipped with disc brakes. Apply both brake levers simultaneously for effective stopping. The right lever typically controls the front brake, and the left lever controls the rear brakes. The parking brake feature allows you to secure the trike when parked.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your e-bike.
- Tires: Check tire pressure regularly (recommended pressure is usually on the tire sidewall). Inspect for wear and tear.
- Brakes: Periodically check brake pads for wear and ensure brake levers engage smoothly. Adjust brake cables as needed.
- Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to prevent rust and ensure smooth pedaling.
- Battery Care: Store the battery in a cool, dry place. If storing for an extended period, charge it to about 50-70% and recharge every 2-3 months.
- Fasteners: Regularly check all nuts, bolts, and quick-release levers to ensure they are tight and secure.
- Cleaning: Clean the trike with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure water jets directly on electrical components.
