Setup

1. Power Supply

The MAXUS D205 scale can be powered by two AAA batteries or via the included USB-C cable.

2. Placement

1. Power On/Off

2. Unit Conversion

Press the "MODE" button to cycle through the available weighing units: grams (g), ounces (oz), troy ounces (ozt), pennyweights (dwt), carats (ct), and grains (gn). The selected unit will be displayed on the screen.

3. Tare Function

The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you only measure the net weight of its contents.

  1. Place the empty container (e.g., weighing pan) on the scale's platform.
  2. Wait for the reading to stabilize.
  3. Press the "TARE" button. The display will reset to 0.000g.
  4. Add the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show only the net weight of the items.

4. Calibration

  2. Press and hold the "MODE" button for approximately 6 seconds until the display flashes "20.000".
  3. Place one 20g calibration weight on the center of the weighing platform. The display will then flash "40.000".
  4. Place the second 20g calibration weight on the platform alongside the first.
  5. The display will show "PASS" and then return to normal weighing mode, indicating successful calibration. Remove the weights.

5. Pieces Counting (PCS) Function

This function allows you to count multiple items of the same weight.

  1. Turn on the scale and ensure it is in weighing mode.
  2. Place a sample quantity of items (e.g., 25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces) on the platform.
  3. Press and hold the "PCS" button until "PCS" appears on the display.
  4. Press the "MODE" button to select the sample quantity you placed (e.g., "25 PCS").
