Setup and Assembly Instructions

Assembly is designed to be straightforward. It is recommended to assemble the chairs on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratching.

  1. Identify Components: Unpack all parts and identify the chair back, seat cushion, front legs, back legs, and hardware. Refer to the included hardware pack for screw types (A, B, C, etc.) and quantities.
  2. Attach Front Legs: Secure the front legs to the underside of the seat cushion using the specified screws and the provided hex wrench. Ensure they are firmly attached.
  3. Attach Back Legs: Align the back legs with the pre-drilled holes on the chair back and the seat cushion. It may be necessary to apply firm downward pressure on the seat cushion to help align the holes correctly. Insert and tighten the specified screws.
  4. Secure All Connections: Once all legs are attached, gently place the chair upright. Double-check and tighten all screws to ensure the chair is stable and secure. Avoid overtightening.
  5. Adjust Foot Pegs: Each chair is equipped with adjustable foot pegs. Turn these pegs at the bottom of each leg to level the chair and prevent wobbling. Adjust them until all four legs make even contact with the floor.

Operating Instructions

The COLAMY dining chairs are designed for comfortable seating in dining rooms, kitchens, or other suitable areas.

  • Ensure the chair is placed on a flat, stable surface before use.
  • Sit centrally on the seat cushion to distribute weight evenly.
  • Avoid standing on the chair or using it as a step stool.
  • Do not drag the chairs across the floor; lift them to move to prevent damage to the chair legs and floor.

Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: To maintain the product's condition, wipe clean with a dry cloth. The PU leather material is easy to clean; for spills, wipe immediately with a damp cloth and then dry. Avoid the use of strong liquid cleaners, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the finish and upholstery.
  • Protection: Avoid direct sunlight exposure and excessive heat to prevent fading or damage to the wood and PU leather.
  • Regular Inspection: Periodically check all hardware connections and retighten if necessary to ensure the chair remains stable.
