4. Setup & Installation
4.1 Vehicle Compatibility Check
This car stereo is designed for Jeep Grand Cherokee models from 2005 to 2007. Please verify your vehicle's center console matches the compatible configuration shown in Photo A below. If your console matches Photo B, this device is not suitable.

4.2 General Installation Steps
- Preparation: Disconnect the vehicle's battery before starting installation.
- Remove Old Unit: Carefully remove the existing car stereo and trim panels using appropriate tools.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the new car stereo's power cable, GPS antenna, radio antenna, and other accessory cables according to the wiring diagram provided. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Rear Camera Installation (Optional): If installing the AHD rear camera, route the camera cable from the rear of the vehicle to the stereo unit and connect it to the designated camera input.
- Test Functionality: Before fully reassembling, reconnect the battery and perform a basic test of the stereo's functions (power, audio, touch screen, camera input).
- Secure Unit: Mount the new car stereo securely into the dashboard opening.
- Reassemble: Reinstall all trim panels and ensure a neat finish.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Operations
The AMprime Android 13 Car Stereo features a 10.1-inch capacitive touch screen with a 1024*600 high resolution. Navigate through menus and applications by tapping, swiping, and pinching on the screen.

5.2 Wireless Carplay & Android Auto
The unit supports both wired and wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Connect your smartphone via USB or Bluetooth to access navigation, music, calls, and other compatible apps directly on the stereo screen.

Connection Steps:
- Open the 'S-Play' application on the car stereo.
- Connect your phone's Bluetooth with the car stereo.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to initiate Carplay or Android Auto.

5.3 Mirror Link (Wireless Jlink Connection)
Mirror Link allows you to cast your smartphone screen directly to the car stereo. Android devices connect via USB and WiFi, while iOS devices connect via WiFi.
Connection Steps:
- Open the 'Jlink' application on the car stereo.
- Connect the car stereo to your mobile phone's hotspot via WiFi.
- For first-time connection, you may need to download the Jlink client app on your phone by scanning the QR code displayed on the stereo.
- On your mobile phone, open the Jlink app and select 'Screen Broadcast' or 'Screen Mirroring' to initiate the connection.
5.4 GPS Navigation & WiFi Connectivity
The stereo has a built-in GPS module and supports both online and offline maps. North American offline maps are pre-installed. Connect to WiFi to use online navigation services and download or update applications from the Application Store.

5.5 FM/RDS Radio
Enjoy real-time traffic updates, news broadcasts, and weather forecasts through the built-in FM/RDS radio receiver. The automotive-grade chipset ensures optimal signal reception.

5.6 Bluetooth Connectivity
Pair your mobile phone via Bluetooth for hands-free calling and wireless music streaming. The system supports answering and ending calls with a single button press, enhancing driving safety.
5.7 Steering Wheel Control (SWC)
If your vehicle is equipped with steering wheel controls, you can configure them to manage the car stereo's functions, such as switching songs, changing channels, adjusting volume, and answering calls. This allows for convenient operation while driving.

5.8 AHD Rear View Camera
The included AHD rear view camera provides a waterproof design, excellent night vision, and a 170° ultra-wide field of view. When reversing, the camera image will automatically display on the touch screen, assisting with safe maneuvering.
5.9 Audio Equalizer (EQ)
Customize your audio experience with the built-in equalizer. Select from various preset sound effects or manually adjust frequency bands to achieve your preferred sound profile.
