3. Setup and Assembly
The Mbxcooter M1 Mobility Scooter is designed for effortless and quick assembly. Follow these steps to set up your scooter:
- Unfold the Scooter: Carefully unfold the main body of the scooter. Ensure all locking mechanisms click into place.
- Install the Seat: Align the seat post with the receiver on the scooter's base and firmly push down until it locks. The seat can swivel 360 degrees for easy access.
- Attach Armrests: Slide the armrests into the designated slots on either side of the seat. Secure them with the provided knobs, adjusting for desired width.
- Mount Baskets: Attach the front basket to the tiller using the provided clips. The rear basket slides onto the bracket located behind the seat.
- Install Mirrors (if included): Screw the rearview mirrors into the designated holes on the tiller.
- Connect Battery: Ensure the battery is properly connected within its compartment.

4. Operating Instructions
Operating your Mbxcooter M1 is intuitive. Familiarize yourself with the controls before your first ride:
- Power On/Off: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the 'ON' position. The battery indicator will light up.
- Speed Adjustment: Use the speed dial (often depicted with a turtle for slow and a rabbit for fast) to set your desired maximum speed.
- Forward/Reverse: Pull the right control lever towards you to move forward. Pull the left control lever towards you to reverse. Release both levers to engage the electromagnetic brake.
- Horn: Press the green button on the control panel to sound the horn. Use this to alert pedestrians or other riders, especially when reversing.
- Headlight: Press the red button on the control panel to turn the LED headlight on or off.

5. Battery Charging and Maintenance
The Mbxcooter M1 features a removable lithium battery for convenient charging.
- Charging Port: The charging port is located on the battery pack.
- Charging Process: Connect the charger to the battery pack, then plug the charger into a standard wall outlet. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
- Charging Time: A full charge typically takes approximately 6 hours.
- Battery Removal: To remove the battery, lift the battery pack from its compartment. Ensure the scooter is turned off before removing the battery.

6. Care and Maintenance

- Tires: The 8" puncture-proof tires require minimal maintenance. Periodically inspect them for any signs of wear or damage.
- Storage: Store the scooter in a dry, cool place when not in use. If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is fully charged and disconnect it.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your scooter, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Scooter not turning on: Ensure the key is fully inserted and turned to the 'ON' position. Check that the battery is properly connected and charged.
- Reduced range or power: The battery may need a full charge. Check battery connections.
- Unusual noises: Inspect wheels and moving parts for any obstructions or loose components.
