Key Features and Operation
- Controls: All drive controls are located on the Tiller Control Box, including the On/Off Switch, Battery Gauge, Speed Control, Headlight, Horn, and Directional Control Levers.
- Speed Control: Adjust your maximum speed using the Preset Speed Knob.
- Battery Gauge: Monitor your battery charge level, indicated by RED (empty), YELLOW (charging), and GREEN (fully charged). For accurate readings, stop the scooter and check the gauge.
- Lights: Use the blue button on the fascia panel to operate the headlights for increased visibility.
- Throttle Lever: Offers finger-tip control for forward and reverse motion. Pull the lever with the right hand for forward or the left hand for reverse. Pushing the lever with the left thumb for forward or the right thumb for reverse is also possible.
- Horn: The horn button provides an audible warning sound to alert pedestrians.
- Key Switch: Turns the scooter ON and OFF. The key cannot be removed when the scooter is in the ON position.
Assembly and Transporting
Assembly: When lifting, always use proper lifting techniques. Ensure the freewheel mechanism is engaged before assembly. Attach the seat and tiller securely. The battery must be charged for 12 hours before first use to prevent damage.
Transporting: The scooter can be quickly disassembled for transport. Remove the basket and seat, lower the tiller, and carefully lift the scooter into a vehicle's luggage compartment using the provided lifting handles and front bumper. Always secure all parts before transportation and ensure the freewheel lever is engaged to prevent movement.
