Setup

1. Powering the Clock

Your bnf Digital Alarm Clock can be powered in two ways:

• USB Power: Connect the provided USB cable to the clock's power input and to a USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port. This provides continuous display.
• AAA Batteries: Insert 3x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. When powered by batteries, the display will automatically turn off after 10 or 16 seconds to save power. Press any button to reactivate the display for a short period.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting the Time

1. Press and hold the MODE button to enter time setting mode.
2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
3. Press MODE again to switch to minute setting, then use UP and DOWN to adjust.
4. Press MODE to confirm and exit.

2. Setting the Alarm

The clock supports two independent alarms.

1. Press the ALARM button once to select Alarm 1, or twice for Alarm 2.
2. Press and hold the ALARM button to enter alarm setting mode.
3. Use UP and DOWN to set the alarm hour, then press ALARM.
4. Use UP and DOWN to set the alarm minute, then press ALARM.
5. Next, set the alarm weekday mode: Mon-Fri, Mon-Sat, or Mon-Sun. Use UP and DOWN to select, then press ALARM to confirm.
6. To activate/deactivate an alarm, short press the ALARM button until the alarm icon appears/disappears on the display.

3. Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after a set interval. To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button.

4. Adjusting Brightness

The clock offers 5 levels of display brightness.

• Short press the SNOOZE button to cycle through the 5 brightness levels.
• Night Mode: The clock automatically enters a low brightness mode between 22:00 (10 PM) and 06:00 (6 AM).

5. Display Modes

The clock has two main display modes:

• Time Only: Displays only the current time.
• Cycle Display: Cycles through displaying time, date, and temperature.
• To switch between display modes, short press the MODE button.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the clock's surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the AAA batteries to prevent leakage.
• Environment: Keep the clock away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and high humidity.

Troubleshooting

Q: The display turns off frequently when using batteries.

A: This is normal behavior. When powered by AAA batteries, the display automatically turns off after 10 or 16 seconds to conserve power. Press any button to temporarily reactivate the display. For continuous display, use USB power.

Q: The clock is not turning on.

A: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the clock and a working power source, or that fresh AAA batteries are correctly inserted with the correct polarity.

Q: The alarm is not sounding.

A: Check if the alarm is activated (alarm icon visible on display). Verify that the alarm time is set correctly.
