Programmable Rear Buttons:

The controller features dual programmable buttons on the rear (M1 and M2, as seen in Figure 4). These buttons can be customized to perform specific functions or macros using the MSI Center software, providing quick access to frequently used commands without repositioning your fingers.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

To clean the controller, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the surface. Do not immerse the controller in water.

Battery Care:

The controller is equipped with a 600mAh Li-ion battery. To maximize battery lifespan:

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Store the controller in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
  • Charge the controller regularly, even if not in frequent use, to maintain battery health.

Durability:

The buttons on the Force GC series controllers are designed for durability, with a rated lifespan of 2 million clicks each. This ensures reliable performance over a long period of use.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions:

  • Controller not connecting/pairing:

Ensure the controller is charged. For 2.4GHz, verify the dongle is properly inserted and the controller is in 2.4GHz mode. For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your PC and the controller is in pairing mode. Try restarting both the controller and your PC.

  • Buttons/Sticks unresponsive or drifting:

The controller features exclusive thumbstick auto-calibration to correct drift. If issues persist, ensure the controller firmware is up to date via MSI Center. Clean around the buttons and sticks to remove any debris. If the issue continues, contact MSI support.

  • Vibration not working:

Check in-game settings to ensure vibration feedback is enabled. Verify that the controller's drivers are up to date. Some games may not support vibration feedback.

  • Short battery life:

Ensure the controller is fully charged before use. Battery life can vary based on usage patterns and vibration intensity. If battery life significantly degrades, it may indicate battery wear.
