The LUTEC Outdoor Wall Lantern is designed to provide reliable and aesthetically pleasing illumination for your outdoor spaces. Featuring a durable aluminum and glass construction, it is built to withstand various weather conditions. The integrated dusk-to-dawn sensor automatically turns the light on at dusk and off at dawn, providing convenience and energy efficiency.

2. Safety Information
WARNING: To avoid electric shock, ensure power is turned off at the circuit breaker before installation or servicing. All wiring connections must be in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Always disconnect power before installing, servicing, or cleaning this fixture.
- Do not exceed the recommended wattage for bulbs (Max 40W for E26 base).

5. Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your outdoor wall lantern. It is recommended to have a second person assist during installation.
- Prepare for Installation:
- Turn off power at the circuit breaker before starting.
- Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound.
- Attach Mounting Plate:
- Secure the mounting plate to the junction box using the provided screws. Ensure the word "UP" on the back mounting plate is facing upwards.
- Verify that the water leakage hole under the mounting plate is facing downwards.

- Make Electrical Connections:
- Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding house wires using the provided wire nuts:
- Black (Live) to Black (Live)
- White (Neutral) to White (Neutral)
- Green or Bare Copper (Ground) to Green or Bare Copper (Ground)
- Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
- Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding house wires using the provided wire nuts:
- Mount the Fixture:
- Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box.
- Align the fixture with the mounting plate and secure it with the provided screws.
- Apply silicone caulking around the fixture's base to prevent water from seeping into the junction box, if desired.

- Install Bulbs:
- Insert an E26 base bulb (not included) into the socket. Do not exceed 40W.
- Carefully place the clear glass shade over the bulb and secure it.
- Restore Power:
- Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
- Test the light fixture.
6. Operating Instructions
Your LUTEC Outdoor Wall Lantern features a built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor for automatic operation.
Dusk to Dawn Functionality:
The integrated sensor detects ambient light levels. The light fixture will automatically turn on when it gets dark (dusk) and turn off when it becomes light (dawn). Ensure the sensor is not obstructed by objects or direct artificial light sources, as this may interfere with its operation.

Bulb Compatibility:
This fixture is compatible with E26 base bulbs, including LED, CFL, incandescent, and halogen bulbs. You can choose different bulb types to achieve your desired lighting atmosphere, provided they do not exceed the maximum wattage of 40W.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and appearance of your outdoor wall lantern.
Cleaning:
- Ensure power is off before cleaning.
- Wipe the fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or glass.
- Clean the glass shade regularly to maintain optimal light output.
Bulb Replacement:
- Turn off power at the circuit breaker.
- Allow the bulb to cool completely before attempting to remove it.
- Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new E26 base bulb (Max 40W).
- Restore power and test the light.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your LUTEC Outdoor Wall Lantern, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
