It is recommended to have a professional jeweler adjust the bracelet by adding or removing links. Maintenance

Cleaning

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the finish.

Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 50 meters (WR50M). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but not for diving or snorkeling. Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged, as this can compromise the water resistance. Exposure to hot water (e.g., in showers or saunas) should be avoided as it can damage seals.

Troubleshooting

  • Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement. The watch uses a SR920SW CELL battery.
  • Incorrect time/date: Refer to the 'Setting the Time' and 'Setting the Date' sections to re-adjust.
  • Chronograph hands not resetting to zero: This may indicate a need for chronograph hand calibration. Consult a professional watch repair service or the Timex support website for instructions specific to your movement.
