1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your SANNCE 2K 3MP PoE Security System. This system includes an 8-channel 6MP Surveillance NVR and four 3MP HD weatherproof dome cameras, designed for reliable video surveillance with advanced features like H.265 video compression, Smart IR LED, and remote access capabilities.

3. System Setup

3.1 Hardware Connection

Follow these steps to connect your SANNCE PoE Security System components:

  1. Connect NVR to Network: Connect one end of a network cable to the NVR's LAN port and the other end to a network port on your router or switch that has internet access.
  2. Connect Cameras to NVR: Insert the network cables from the cameras into the PoE ports of the NVR. The package includes 18-meter and 30-meter network cables; choose according to the distance between the camera and the NVR.
  3. Connect USB Mouse: Connect the USB mouse to one of the USB ports on the NVR.
  4. Connect Monitor: Insert an HDMI cable into the HDMI port of the NVR and the other end into your monitor.
  5. Power On: Connect the power cord to the power adapter, then insert the power plug of the power adapter into the power port of the NVR. Finally, plug the power adapter into a power strip or wall outlet to power on the system.

3.2 NVR Initial Setup

After powering on the NVR, follow the on-screen prompts for initial configuration (also demonstrated in the video above):

  1. Select Language: Choose your preferred language. English is the default. The NVR supports 5 languages: English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish.
  2. Set Account Password: Create a strong password for the NVR administrator account. It is recommended to set a password reminder. The device requires activation with a password to function.
  3. Set Unlocking Mode: Configure a pattern lock for quick access.
  4. Security Questions & Email: Fill in your email address and security questions. This will facilitate password verification and reset if you forget your password.
  5. Time Setting: Select your country or region's time zone and set the date format.
  6. Network Configuration: Configure network settings. Default settings are usually sufficient.
  7. Format Hard Drive: If using a hard drive for the first time, format it. If no hard drive is installed, you can skip this step.
  8. Camera Recognition: New cameras will be automatically recognized and configured for the IP channels.
  9. Mobile Monitoring Setup: Scan the QR code of the APP to download it. Then, use the downloaded app to scan the device ID QR code to add the device for mobile monitoring.

The SANNCE PoE Security System provides 2K/3MP resolution (2304x1296), offering 1.5 times clearer images than 1080P. The 1/2.7 inch Progressive Scan CMOS sensor ensures clear visuals during both day and night. Equipped with dual IR supplement lights and a 4mm 6-layer all-glass lens, the cameras achieve up to 100ft night vision. Technologies like BLC, 3D DNR, and HLC enhance picture quality, delivering clean, noiseless images even in low-light conditions.
