Setup Guide

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, ensure both transmitters (TX), the receiver (RX), and the charging case are fully charged. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging case and a power source using the included Green Extreme wall charger. The charging indicators on the case will illuminate to show charging status.

2. Pairing

The Wireless Micro system is designed for automatic pairing. Simply remove the transmitters and receiver from the charging case. They should automatically connect to each other. A solid green light on the units indicates a successful connection.

3. Connecting to Your Smartphone

The receiver features a Lightning connector. Plug the receiver directly into the Lightning port of your iPhone or iPad. No additional cables or adapters are required for connection.

Operating Instructions

1. Attaching Transmitters

Each transmitter has a built-in clip for easy attachment to clothing. For optimal audio capture, clip the transmitter to your collar or lapel, ensuring the microphone is facing towards your mouth. Magnetic attachments are also included for alternative mounting options.

2. Recording Audio

Once the receiver is connected to your smartphone and the transmitters are powered on and paired, open your preferred audio or video recording application. The Wireless Micro system will be automatically recognized as the audio input device. Begin recording as usual. The intelligent GainAssist technology will automatically adjust the audio levels to prevent clipping and ensure clear sound.

3. Using Furry Windshields

For outdoor recording or in windy conditions, attach the provided furry windshields to the transmitters. These windshields effectively reduce wind noise and plosives (p-pops), improving audio clarity.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the transmitters, receiver, and charging case. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the system in its charging case when not in use to protect the components and ensure they remain charged. Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: For optimal battery longevity, avoid fully discharging the units frequently. Recharge them regularly, especially if storing for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

• No Audio Recording:
  • Ensure the receiver is securely plugged into your smartphone's Lightning port.
  • Verify that both transmitters and the receiver are powered on and paired (indicated by a solid green light).
  • Check your smartphone's audio input settings within your recording app to ensure the external microphone is selected.
  • Confirm that the units have sufficient battery charge.
• Poor Audio Quality (Noise/Distortion):
  • Ensure transmitters are positioned correctly, close to the speaker's mouth.
  • Use the furry windshields in windy conditions.
  • Check for strong electromagnetic interference sources nearby.
  • The intelligent GainAssist should manage levels, but ensure the recording environment is not excessively loud.
• Units Not Pairing:
  • Place all units back into the charging case for a few seconds, then remove them to re-initiate pairing.
  • Ensure all units are sufficiently charged.
