This diagram illustrates the correct connection points for the power line (N, L, L, L) and the load line (N, L, L, L) on the DEWIN Automatic Reclosing RCCB. It also shows the timing sequence for power-on delay, trip times, and auxiliary contact warnings.

  • Connect the incoming power supply to the terminals marked 'N' and '1, 3, 5' at the top.
  • Connect the load to the terminals marked 'N' and '2, 4, 6' at the bottom.
  • Ensure the correct phase sequence for 4P AC 400V systems.

5. Operating Instructions

Working Mode Selection:

The device features a switch for selecting between 'AUTO' and 'MANU' (Manual) modes.

  • AUTO Mode: In this mode, the circuit breaker will automatically reclose after a trip, following a predefined sequence and timing.
  • MANU Mode: In this mode, the circuit breaker requires manual intervention to reset after a trip.

Automatic Reclosing Sequence:

When in AUTO mode, the device attempts to reclose multiple times if a fault occurs. The timing diagram in Figure 3 illustrates this sequence:

  • After a trip, there is a power-on delay (Tr) of 2 seconds.
  • The device attempts to reclose. If the fault persists, it trips again.
  • Subsequent reclosing attempts occur with increasing delays (e.g., 10s, 15min, 60s, 300s).
  • If the fault clears, the closing times are reset. If the fault persists after multiple attempts (e.g., 3 times within 15 minutes), auxiliary contacts will signal a warning.

Status Indicators:

LED indicators provide visual feedback on the device's operational status.

  • Refer to the panel introduction (Figure 1) for the location of the status indicator.
  • Specific LED colors or patterns indicate power status, trip status, and reclosing attempts.

6. Maintenance

Monthly Test:

It is recommended to press the 'Test Monthly' button (refer to Figure 1) at least once a month to ensure the leakage protection function is operating correctly. If the device does not trip when the test button is pressed, it may be faulty and should be inspected by a qualified electrician.

General Care:

  • Keep the device clean and free from dust and debris.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Regularly inspect for any signs of physical damage or loose connections.

7. Troubleshooting

Device Trips Repeatedly:

  • If the device trips frequently, even after automatic reclosing attempts, it indicates a persistent fault in the electrical circuit.
  • Do not attempt to continuously reset the device.
  • Immediately disconnect power and have the electrical system inspected by a qualified electrician to identify and rectify the fault.

Device Does Not Reclose Automatically:

  • Check if the working mode selection switch is set to 'AUTO'.
  • Ensure there is auxiliary power (AC220V) connected to the A1/A2 terminals if required for the reclosing mechanism.
  • If the issue persists, contact a qualified electrician for inspection.
