Installation Guide

1. Unit Placement

Place the portable air conditioner on a flat, stable surface in the room you wish to cool. Ensure there is at least 20 inches (50 cm) of clearance from walls or other objects to allow for proper air circulation.

2. Window Kit Installation

  1. Assemble the window kit by sliding the adjustable panels together to fit your window opening.
  2. Secure the window kit in the window frame using the provided screws or clips, ensuring a tight seal to prevent air leakage.

3. Exhaust Hose Connection

  1. Attach the hose connector to one end of the exhaust hose by twisting it clockwise until secure.
  2. Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the exhaust port on the back of the portable air conditioner unit.
  3. Insert the hose connector (with the hose attached) into the opening of the installed window kit, ensuring it is firmly seated to expel hot air outdoors.

Operating Instructions

The unit features an easily-read deluxe PCB display and a soft-touch control panel. All functions can also be controlled via the included remote control.

1. Power On/Off

Press the Power button on the control panel or remote control to turn the unit on or off.

2. Mode Selection

Press the Mode button to cycle through the available operating modes:

  • Cooling Mode: Provides powerful cooling. The settable temperature range is between 61℉ (16℃) and 90℉ (32℃).
  • Dehumidification Mode: Reduces moisture in the air without significant cooling.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling or dehumidifying.

3. Temperature Adjustment

In Cooling Mode, use the Up and Down arrows on the control panel or remote to set your desired temperature.

4. Fan Speed

Press the Fan Speed button to select between different fan speeds (e.g., Low, Medium, High).

5. Timer Function

Use the Timer button to set a specific time for the unit to automatically turn on or off.

6. Child Lock

To activate the child-lock function, long-press the Lock key for approximately 3 seconds. This prevents accidental changes to settings. Repeat the process to deactivate.

Maintenance

1. Air Filter Cleaning

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality. A dirty filter can reduce cooling efficiency.

  1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  2. Locate and remove the air filter from the back or side of the unit.
  3. Rinse the filter under running water (warm, not hot) or use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris.
  4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not expose to direct sunlight.

2. Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or solvents, as these may damage the surface.

3. Storage

If storing the unit for an extended period:

  • Unplug the unit and clean the air filter.
  • Ensure the unit is completely dry. Although it features a self-evaporative system, for long-term storage, it's advisable to check for any residual water and drain if necessary.
  • Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Cover the unit to protect it from dust.
