Setup Instructions
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials, including the foam base and any tape. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.
- Placement:

- The freezer is designed for freestanding installation.

Figure 3: Dimensions and suitable placement areas for the freezer.
- Leveling: Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the freezer to ensure it is stable and level. This helps reduce vibration and noise.
- Initial Standby: After placing the freezer, allow it to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle, preventing potential damage to the cooling system.
- Power Connection: Plug the freezer into a dedicated, grounded 115V/60Hz electrical outlet.
- First Use: Before storing food, allow the freezer to operate for 2-3 hours on a medium setting to reach the desired temperature.
Operating Instructions
Temperature Control
The freezer features a 7-stage adjustable thermostat knob located on the front panel. Turn the knob to select the desired temperature setting.
- "0": Off (Freezer is turned off)
- "1": Warmest setting (approximately 10°F)
- "7": Coldest setting (approximately -7.6°F)
Each stage adjusts the temperature by approximately 2°F. Refer to the guide below for recommended settings based on food type.

Food Storage Tips
- Use the removable baskets for organizing smaller items and frequently accessed foods.
- Ensure food is properly sealed to prevent freezer burn and odor transfer.
- Avoid overloading the freezer, as this can hinder air circulation and cooling efficiency.
- The hovering hinge allows the door to stay open between 45° and 85°, making loading and unloading easier.

Maintenance
Cleaning
- Always unplug the freezer before cleaning.
- Clean the interior with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Wipe dry thoroughly.
- The exterior can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild soap.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, sharp objects, or harsh chemicals, as they can damage surfaces.
Defrosting
Defrost the freezer when the ice layer reaches about 0.2 inches (5 mm) thick. Frequent defrosting improves efficiency.
- Unplug the freezer from the power outlet.
- Remove all food items and store them in another freezer or cooler.
- Open the freezer lid and remove the drain plug located at the bottom of the freezer. Place a shallow pan or towel underneath the drain to collect water.
- Allow the ice to melt naturally. You can speed up the process by placing bowls of hot water inside the freezer (do not use sharp objects to chip ice).
- Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
- Replace the drain plug, plug in the freezer, and allow it to cool for a few hours before returning food.

Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer service, please check the following common issues and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Freezer does not operate. | Not plugged in; circuit breaker tripped; power outage. | Ensure plug is secure; check circuit breaker; verify power supply. |
| Freezer is not cold enough. | Temperature setting too high; door not closed properly; excessive door openings; warm food added; poor ventilation. | Adjust thermostat to a colder setting; ensure door seals tightly; reduce frequency of door openings; allow hot food to cool before placing in freezer; ensure adequate space around freezer. |
| Excessive noise. | Freezer not level; contact with wall/other objects; normal operating sounds. | Adjust leveling feet; move freezer away from obstructions; gurgling/hissing sounds are normal for refrigerant. |
| Frost buildup. | Door left open; warm/moist food placed inside; faulty door seal. | Ensure door is closed tightly; allow food to cool; check and clean door gasket; defrost as needed. |
