5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove the turntable from its packaging.
- Place the unit on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or vibrations.
5.2 Power Connection
- Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the turntable.
- Plug the other end of the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet.
5.3 Initial Preparation
- Open the lid of the turntable.
- Remove the stylus protector from the needle. Store it safely for future use.
- Ensure the tonearm is unlocked from its rest.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Playing a Record
- Place a record on the turntable platter.
- Select the appropriate speed (33 or 45 RPM) using the speed selector switch, matching the record's speed.
- Turn the Power/Volume knob clockwise to power on the unit and set a comfortable listening volume.
- Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever.
- Move the tonearm over the desired starting groove of the record.
- Slowly lower the tonearm onto the record using the cueing lever. The music will begin to play.
- At the end of the record, the auto-stop function will automatically stop the platter rotation. Lift the tonearm and return it to its rest.
6.2 Bluetooth® Reception (Streaming to Turntable)
You can stream audio from your Bluetooth®-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) to the LS-66's integrated speakers.
- Turn on the turntable.
- The Bluetooth® indicator will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth® and search for available devices.
- Select "Lenco LS-66" from the list.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth® indicator will glow solid. You can now play music from your device through the turntable's speakers.
6.3 Bluetooth® Transmission (Streaming from Turntable)
The LS-66 can transmit the audio from your records wirelessly to external Bluetooth® speakers or headphones.
- Ensure your external Bluetooth® speaker/headphones are in pairing mode.
- Turn on the turntable. The turntable will automatically search for Bluetooth® receiving devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth® indicator will glow solid. The audio from your record will now play through the external Bluetooth® device.
6.4 Connecting to External Audio Systems (RCA Output)
For connecting to a home stereo system or external powered speakers, use the RCA output jacks on the back of the unit.
- Connect an RCA cable (not included) from the RCA output jacks on the turntable to the corresponding audio input jacks on your amplifier or powered speakers.
- Ensure the volume on the turntable is set to a moderate level, and adjust the main volume on your external audio system.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Stylus
- Use a soft brush (not included) to gently clean the stylus. Always brush from back to front.
- Avoid touching the stylus with your fingers.
7.2 Cleaning the Unit
- Wipe the turntable's surface with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
