Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement:

Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Place the unit on a firm, level surface capable of supporting its weight. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for proper ventilation (at least 10 cm on all sides). Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

2. Water Connection:

The ice maker offers two water supply options:

• Water Jug (Garrafón) Connection: Connect the provided plastic adapter to the water inlet if using a water jug. Ensure the jug is securely placed.
• Direct Water Line Connection: For continuous water supply, connect the ice maker to a potable water line using the appropriate plumbing. The included PP filter should be installed in the water line to ensure clean water for ice production.

Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks. The white hose is for water outlet/drainage.

3. Power Connection:

Plug the power cord into a grounded 127V, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapters.

4. Initial Cleaning:

Before first use, it is recommended to clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the 'Maintenance' section for detailed cleaning instructions.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview:

• ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
• UP (+) / DOWN (-) Buttons: Adjust settings, such as ice production time or timer.
• CLEAN/TIMER Button: Initiates the cleaning cycle or sets the operational timer.
• DEICING Button: Activates the deicing function.
• Indicator Lights:

Starting Ice Production:

1. Ensure the water supply is connected and the water reservoir is filled (if using a jug) or the direct water line is open.
2. Press the ON/OFF button to power on the unit.
3. The unit will automatically begin the ice-making cycle. The ICE indicator light will illuminate.
4. Ice cubes will be produced and dropped into the storage bin.
5. When the ice bin is full, the ICE FULL indicator will light up, and the machine will pause production. It will resume automatically once ice is removed.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and hygienic operation of your ice maker.

1. Daily Cleaning:

• Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice.
• Wipe down the interior of the ice storage bin with a clean, damp cloth.
• Ensure the exterior is clean and free of dust.

2. Weekly/Bi-Weekly Cleaning (or as needed):

• Disconnect the power supply.
• Drain any remaining water from the reservoir and the ice bin.
• Prepare a cleaning solution of mild detergent and warm water, or a specialized ice maker cleaning solution.
• Clean all internal surfaces, including the ice-making tray and water tank, with a soft cloth or sponge.
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all cleaning solution residue.
• Run a cleaning cycle using the CLEAN/TIMER button if available, following the machine's specific instructions.
• Clean the PP filter regularly or replace it as recommended by the manufacturer to ensure optimal water quality.

3. Condenser Cleaning:

Periodically clean the condenser coils located at the back or sides of the unit. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris. A clean condenser ensures efficient operation and prevents overheating.
