Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Press the power button on the controller to turn the wheelchair on or off. The display will illuminate when powered on.

2. Driving with the Joystick

Gently push the joystick in the desired direction (forward, backward, left, right) to control movement. The further you push the joystick, the faster the wheelchair will move, up to the set maximum speed. Release the joystick to engage the electro-mechanical brakes and stop the wheelchair.

3. Speed Adjustment

Use the speed adjustment buttons on the controller to increase or decrease the maximum speed of the wheelchair. This allows for precise control in various environments.

4. Freewheel Mode

To manually push the wheelchair, engage the freewheel mode by disengaging the motors. Refer to the specific levers or buttons on your model for this function. Ensure the motors are re-engaged before operating the wheelchair electrically.

5. Smart Control Mobile App

The Ally Pro can be controlled via a Smart Control Mobile App. Download the official app from your device's app store and follow the in-app instructions for pairing and remote operation. This feature offers enhanced convenience for maneuvering the wheelchair remotely.

6. Navigating Terrain

The 10-inch omni-directional front wheels and pneumatic rear drive wheels, combined with shock-absorbing front suspension, provide a smooth and stable ride over various indoor and outdoor surfaces. The omni-directional wheels allow for tight-radius turns, improving maneuverability in confined spaces.

Maintenance

  • Battery Care: Charge the lithium-ion battery regularly, even when not in use, to maintain its lifespan. Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
  • Cleaning: Use a damp cloth to wipe down the frame and seating surfaces. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or excessive water.
  • Tire Pressure: For pneumatic drive wheels, regularly check and maintain the recommended tire pressure to ensure optimal performance and ride comfort.
  • General Inspection: Periodically check all nuts, bolts, and fasteners for tightness. Inspect the wheels, tires, and electrical connections for any signs of wear or damage.

Troubleshooting

  • Wheelchair not powering on: Ensure the battery is properly installed and charged. Check all electrical connections.
  • Wheelchair not moving: Verify that the freewheel mode is disengaged. Check the joystick connection and ensure it is functioning correctly.
  • Unusual noises or vibrations: Stop using the wheelchair immediately and inspect for any loose parts or obstructions. Contact customer support if the issue persists.
  • System Monitoring Voice Alerts: The Ally Pro is equipped with voice alerts to notify users of potential issues. Pay attention to these alerts and consult the manual or customer support for guidance.
