Setup Guide
Follow these steps for proper installation of your LED Tape Light:
- Plan Your Layout: Before peeling the adhesive, unroll the tape light and lay it out in your desired location to confirm the length and placement. Ensure the power adapter can reach an outlet.
- Prepare the Surface: Clean the installation surface thoroughly. It must be dry, smooth, and free of dust, dirt, or grease for optimal adhesive performance.
- Cut to Size (Optional): If a shorter length is required, locate the designated cutting marks on the tape light (typically indicated by a scissor icon or copper pads). Cut only at these marked points to avoid damaging the circuit.
- Apply the Tape Light: Carefully peel off the backing from the adhesive strip on the back of the tape light. Press the tape light firmly onto the prepared surface, working in small sections to ensure good contact and avoid air bubbles.
- Secure with Clips (Optional): For added security, especially on textured surfaces or in high-traffic areas, use the included mounting clips and screws. Space them evenly along the tape light.
- Connect Power: Plug the tape light connector into the power adapter. Then, plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- Link Multiple Strips (Optional): If linking multiple 20ft strips (up to a maximum of 40ft total), connect them end-to-end using the integrated connectors. Ensure the power supply is adequate for the total length.

Operating Instructions
Control your Feit Electric LED Tape Light using the included remote control:

- Power On/Off: Press the Power button (red button, top right) to turn the lights on or off.
- Brightness Adjustment: Use the Brightness Up (▲) and Brightness Down (▼) buttons to adjust the light intensity.
- Color Selection:
- Press the RGB color buttons (Red, Green, Blue, etc.) to select a static color.
- Press the "W" button for Tunable White light.
- Dynamic Modes:
- Chasing Effects: Use the "Chase" button to activate dynamic chasing light patterns.
- Other Modes: Explore buttons like "Flash", "Strobe", "Fade", and "Smooth" for various light transitions and effects.
- Speed Adjustment: Use the Speed Up and Speed Down buttons to control the pace of dynamic modes.
- Timer Function: Some remotes may include a timer function. Refer to the remote's specific markings for details.

Maintenance

- Cleaning: Disconnect the power adapter before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to wipe the tape light. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the product.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the tape light and power adapter for any signs of damage, such as frayed wires, cracks, or loose connections. If any damage is found, discontinue use and contact customer support.
- Storage: If storing the tape light for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Coil it loosely to prevent kinks or damage to the LED strip. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Battery Replacement (Remote): If the remote control's range or responsiveness decreases, the battery may need replacement. Refer to the remote's battery compartment for the correct battery type (typically a CR2025 or similar coin cell battery) and replacement instructions. Ensure proper polarity.
Troubleshooting
