Setup
Assembling the Stand
- Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging.
- Attach the stand neck to the monitor panel by aligning the tabs and pushing until it clicks into place.
- Secure the stand base to the stand neck using the provided screw(s).
- Place the assembled monitor on a stable, flat surface.
Connecting the Monitor
- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the monitor's power input, then plug the power cable into a wall outlet.
- Video Connection: Connect one end of the provided HDMI or DisplayPort cable to your computer's graphics card and the other end to the corresponding port on the monitor. For optimal performance, DisplayPort is recommended for 180Hz refresh rate.
- USB Connection (Optional): Connect the USB upstream cable from your computer to the monitor's USB upstream port to enable the monitor's USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports.
VESA Mounting
This monitor supports VESA mounting (100x100mm). To mount the monitor on a wall or an alternative stand:
- Remove the stand from the monitor panel.
- Attach the VESA-compatible mount (not included) to the monitor using appropriate screws.
- Follow the instructions provided with your VESA mount for installation.
Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
Press the power button located on the monitor to turn it on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is active.
On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu Navigation
Use the joystick or buttons (depending on model variant) located on the rear or bottom of the monitor to access and navigate the OSD menu. The OSD allows you to adjust various display settings.
Key Features and Settings
- Refresh Rate (180Hz): Ensure your graphics card settings are configured to output 180Hz for the smoothest gaming experience.
- Resolution (2560x1440 QHD): Set your display resolution to 2560x1440 in your operating system's display settings for optimal image clarity.
- Response Time (1ms): This monitor features a 1ms response time. Adjust overdrive settings in the OSD if available, to fine-tune ghosting or inverse ghosting.
- Color Gamut (DCI-P3 95%): The wide color gamut provides rich and accurate colors. Color profiles can be adjusted in the OSD or your graphics card control panel.
- VESA Certified DisplayHDR 400: Enable HDR in your operating system and compatible applications for enhanced contrast and brightness.
- Dynamic Image Clarity (DIC) Technology: This feature reduces motion blur. It can typically be enabled or disabled via the OSD menu. Note that enabling DIC may affect brightness or other display settings.
- Low Blue Light & Flicker-Free: These features are designed to reduce eye strain during prolonged use. Low Blue Light modes can usually be activated through the OSD.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Monitor
- Always unplug the monitor before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or a non-abrasive screen cleaner.
- Do not spray cleaner directly onto the screen.
- Avoid using benzene, thinner, ammonia-based cleaners, or abrasive materials.
Storage
If storing the monitor for an extended period, ensure it is powered off, unplugged, and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use original packaging if available.
Troubleshooting
- No Power:
- Ensure the power cable is securely connected to the monitor and the power outlet.
- Verify the power adapter is functioning correctly. - No Signal:
- Check that the video cable (HDMI/DisplayPort) is securely connected to both the monitor and your computer.
- Ensure the correct input source is selected in the monitor's OSD menu.
- Try a different video cable or port. - Image Issues (Blurry, Distorted, Incorrect Colors):
- Adjust the resolution and refresh rate in your computer's display settings to match the monitor's native resolution (2560x1440) and desired refresh rate (180Hz).
- Reset monitor settings to factory defaults via the OSD menu.
- Update your graphics card drivers. - Flickering Screen:
- Ensure the refresh rate is set correctly.
- Disable any dynamic refresh rate technologies (e.g., FreeSync/G-Sync if applicable) temporarily to diagnose.
- Check for external interference.
