Setup
Before first use, ensure the unit is fully charged. The Pondee X1 features a fast 2.5-hour recharge time, providing up to 120 minutes of uninterrupted cleaning.

To charge, connect the adapter to the charging port located on the underside of the unit. The indicator light will show charging status. Once fully charged, disconnect the adapter.
Operating Instructions
Operating the Pondee X1 is simple and requires minimal effort.
- Activation: Activate automated cleaning with just a single click of the power button located on the top of the unit.
- Placement: Gently submerge the cleaner into the pool. Ensure all trapped air is released to allow the unit to sink to the bottom and begin its cleaning cycle.
- Cleaning Cycle: The X1 will navigate the pool floor, collecting debris. It is designed for flat-ground pools and will not climb walls or steps.
- Auto-Parking: Once the cleaning cycle is complete or the battery is low, the Pondee X1 will automatically park itself by the pool wall for easy retrieval.
- Retrieval: Use the included retrieval hook to easily lift the unit from the pool. The unit is designed for quick water drainage upon removal.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Pondee X1.
- Filter Cleaning: After each use, open the unit and remove the filter. Rinse the filter thoroughly under running water to remove collected debris. Ensure the filter is clean before reassembling the unit for the next use.
- Storage: Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Pondee X1, consider the following:
- Unit Not Moving: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Check the filter for excessive debris that might be obstructing the motors or suction.
- Ineffective Cleaning: Clean the filter thoroughly. Verify that the pool surface is flat, as the unit is designed for flat-bottom pools and may struggle on slopes or uneven surfaces.
- Unit Not Submerging: Ensure all air is expelled from the unit by submerging it slowly and allowing bubbles to escape.
