1. Introduction

3. Setup and Initial Use

3.1 Charging the Cleaner

Before first use, ensure the Redkey S100 is fully charged. The charging time is approximately 3-4 hours. Connect the charger to the cleaner's charging port and plug it into a power outlet. The indicator light will show charging status.

3.2 Installing the Scrapers

Attach the two bottom scrapers to the designated slots on the underside of the cleaner. Ensure they are securely in place.

3.3 Activating and Placing in Pool

Once charged, press the red activation button located on the underside of the cleaner. Then, gently lower the cleaner into the pool. The cleaning function will automatically begin once the unit is submerged in water.

4. Operating the Cleaner

The Redkey S100 operates autonomously once activated and submerged. It navigates the pool bottom, collecting debris into its internal filter basket.

4.2 Runtime and Coverage

The S100 features a 5200mAh battery, providing up to 130 minutes of runtime. This allows it to cover an impressive area of up to 1100 sq.ft on a single charge.

4.3 Obstacle Navigation and Self-Parking

The cleaner possesses an 18° obstacle-crossing capability, allowing it to navigate minor creases or slopes on the pool bottom without getting stuck. Advanced water sensor technology enables quick reversal upon touching pool walls, reducing collisions. When cleaning is complete or the battery is low, the cleaner automatically moves to the nearest pool wall for easy retrieval.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Retrieving the Cleaner

Use the provided retrieval hook to easily lift the cleaner out of the water without needing to get into the pool. Lift slowly and levelly to prevent debris from spilling back into the pool.

5.2 Cleaning the Filter Basket

The filter basket is designed for easy removal and cleaning. Simply detach it from the cleaner and rinse thoroughly with water to remove collected debris. It is recommended to clean the filter box in time when the pool cleaner is low on power or clogged with dirt.

6. Troubleshooting Tips

  • Cleaner not operating: Ensure the unit is fully charged before use. The product will only begin to work when placed in water.
  • Ineffective cleaning or getting stuck: This cleaner is designed specifically for flat-bottom pools. It may not perform optimally in pools with significant slopes or steps.
  • Reduced performance or battery life: If the pool cleaner is low on power or clogged with dirt, it is recommended to clean the filter box promptly.
  • Product is small and light: It is recommended to drain a portion of the water from the pool before use if the cleaner is floating too high.
