1. Product Overview

The LEGAMI Erasable Gel Pen set features 13 unique pens, each with a distinct animal design and thermosensitive erase ink. 3. Setup

The LEGAMI Erasable Gel Pens require no complex setup. Simply remove the cap and begin writing. Ensure the cap is replaced firmly after use to prevent the ink from drying out.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Writing

Hold the pen comfortably and apply light pressure to write. The 0.7mm tip provides a smooth and consistent line. The ink color corresponds to the pen's design as listed in the Package Contents section.

4.2. Erasing

To erase, use the special ball-shaped eraser located at the end of the pen. Rub the eraser firmly over the ink you wish to remove. The friction generates heat, which causes the thermosensitive ink to become transparent. The eraser is designed not to wear down or damage the paper surface.

4.3. Creative Use: The Secret Message Trick

The thermosensitive nature of the ink allows for a fun "secret message" trick. Follow these steps:

1. Write your secret message on a piece of paper.
2. Erase the message completely using the eraser ball at the end of the pen. The ink will become invisible.
3. Place the paper in a freezer for a few minutes.
4. The ink will reappear at temperatures under -10°C (14°F), revealing your secret message!

5. Maintenance and Care

• Always replace the pen cap firmly after use to prevent the ink from drying out.
• Store pens at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or extreme heat, as high temperatures can cause the ink to become transparent.
• Avoid dropping the pens, especially on the tip, to prevent damage.
• The eraser tip is designed for durability; no special maintenance is required for it.

6. Troubleshooting

• Ink not flowing:
  • Ensure the cap is fully removed.
  • Gently scribble on a scrap piece of paper to prime the tip.
  • Check if the pen has been exposed to high temperatures, which can make the ink temporarily invisible. If so, try cooling the pen down.
• Ink not erasing completely:
  • Apply more firm pressure when rubbing with the eraser.
  • Ensure the paper surface is smooth and clean.
  • The ink may be too deeply absorbed into certain types of paper.
• Ink reappearing unexpectedly:
  • This is normal if the paper or pen is exposed to cold temperatures (below -10°C / 14°F).
  • Allow the paper to return to room temperature, or gently rub the ink with the eraser again.
