Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your ceiling fan. Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker before starting.

1. Mounting Bracket Installation

Secure the mounting bracket to a ceiling joist or a suitable electrical junction box capable of supporting the fan's weight.
Ensure the bracket is firmly attached using appropriate screws and washers.

2. Downrod Assembly

Select the appropriate downrod length (6, 10, or 20 inches) for your ceiling height.
Feed the fan's electrical wires and safety cable through the chosen downrod.
Attach the downrod to the fan motor housing, securing it with the provided pin and cotter pin.
Slide the canopy and yoke cover onto the downrod.

3. Wiring Connections

Carefully connect the fan's wires to the household wiring according to the wiring diagram in the manual (typically black to black, white to white, and green/ground to ground).
Ensure all connections are secure using wire nuts.
Connect the remote control receiver to the fan's wiring harness.

4. Hanging the Fan

Carefully lift the fan assembly and place the downrod ball into the mounting bracket.
Ensure the safety cable is also secured to the building structure.
Slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting bracket with the provided screws.

5. Attaching Fan Blades

Attach each of the 8 fan blades to the motor housing using the provided screws.
Ensure all screws are tightened securely.

6. Installing LED Light and Cover

Connect the LED light assembly's quick connector to the corresponding connector in the fan's motor housing.
Secure the LED light assembly to the fan.
Twist the light cover onto the LED light assembly until it is firmly in place.

Operating Instructions

Your VEVOR ceiling fan is operated using the included multifunctional remote control.

1. Power On/Off

Press the power button (usually a red circle with a line) to turn the fan and light on or off.
The fan will remember the last settings for speed and light mode when turned back on via a wall switch.

2. Fan Speed Control

Use the '+' and '-' buttons under the fan icon to increase or decrease the fan speed (6 speeds available).
The fan operates quietly, even at higher speeds, providing up to 11,000 CFM airflow.

3. Light Control

Press the light bulb icon to turn the LED light on or off.
Use the '+' and '-' buttons under the light bulb icon to dim or brighten the light.
Press the 'C' button to cycle through the three color temperatures: 3000K (warm yellow), 4000K (natural), and 6500K (cool white).

4. Reverse Function

Press the 'R' button to reverse the direction of the fan blades.
In summer, the fan rotates counterclockwise to create a cooling breeze.
In winter, it rotates clockwise to circulate warm air near the ceiling, distributing it evenly.

5. Timer Function

Press the timer button (clock icon) to set the fan to automatically turn off after 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours.

6. Mute Function

Press the 'MUTE' button to silence the remote's beeping sounds when changing settings.
