1. Introduction and Overview

2.1. What's in the Box

Upon unboxing, please ensure all components are present:

• Ice Maker (1 unit)
• Ice Scoop (1 unit)
• Ice Basket (1 unit)
• Drip Tray (1 unit)

2.2. Placement

Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. The compact dimensions (7.28″ W x 13.0″ D x 12.68″ H) allow it to fit conveniently in various spaces such as kitchen countertops, home bars, or office pantries.

2.3. Initial Cleaning

Before first use, it is recommended to perform a self-cleaning cycle. Refer to Section 4.1 for detailed instructions on using the automatic self-cleaning function.

2.4. Adding Water

Open the lid of the ice maker. Remove the ice basket. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, clean water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill. Replace the ice basket and close the lid.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Making Ice

The Aeitto Nugget Ice Maker features a simple one-click operation:

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled (refer to Section 2.4).
2. Press the "ICE" button on the control panel. The indicator light will illuminate.
3. The ice maker will begin producing nugget ice. The first batch of ice can be ready in as little as 5 minutes.

3.2. Indicators

• ICE FULL: This indicator light will illuminate when the ice basket is full, and the machine will automatically pause ice production to prevent overflow. Once ice is removed, production will resume.
• ADD WATER: This indicator light will illuminate when the water reservoir is low. Refill the reservoir with water to continue ice production.

4. Maintenance

4.1. Automatic Self-Cleaning

The ice maker features a smart self-cleaning function to ensure hygiene. To activate:

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
2. Press the "CLEAN" button on the control panel.
3. The machine will automatically perform a cleaning cycle, typically lasting about 15 minutes.
4. Once the cycle is complete, drain the water as described in Section 4.2.

4.2. Draining Water

To drain water from the unit, locate the drainage hose at the back of the machine. Remove the stopper from the hose and direct the hose into a sink or container to allow the water to drain completely. Once drained, replace the stopper securely.

4.3. Descaling

Hard water can lead to mineral buildup, affecting ice quality and machine performance. It is recommended to descale the ice maker regularly:

• Monthly: In moderately hard water areas.
• Every two or three weeks: In hard to very hard water areas.

Use a descaling solution suitable for ice makers and follow the product's instructions. After descaling, perform several self-cleaning cycles with fresh water to rinse thoroughly.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Aeitto Nugget Ice Maker, please consider the following common troubleshooting steps:

• No Ice Production: Check if the unit is plugged in and powered on. Ensure the water reservoir is filled and the "ADD WATER" indicator is not lit. Verify the ice basket is correctly placed.
• "ICE FULL" Indicator On, But Basket Not Full: The sensor might be obstructed. Clean the sensor area inside the ice maker.
• Unusual Noise: Ensure the unit is on a stable, level surface. Check for any obstructions in the ice-making mechanism.
• Ice Melts Quickly: This ice maker produces soft, chewable nugget ice, which naturally melts faster than traditional hard ice cubes. Ensure the ambient temperature is not excessively high.
