3. Maintenance

3.1. Cleaning Your Watch

To maintain the appearance and functionality of your watch:

  • Wipe the watch case and strap with a soft, damp cloth.
  • For polyurethane straps, mild soap and water can be used, then rinse thoroughly and dry.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.

3.2. Battery Replacement

The watch uses one LR44 battery. When the low battery indicator appears on the display, it is time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

If replacing the battery yourself, ensure the gasket is properly seated to prevent water intrusion. Improper battery replacement can void the warranty and compromise water resistance.

3.3. Water Resistance Care

To preserve the water resistance of your watch:

  • Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes (e.g., hot showers followed by cold water).
  • Ensure the crown and buttons are fully pushed in before exposing the watch to water.
  • Do not operate buttons while the watch is submerged.
  • Have the water resistance seals checked periodically, especially after battery changes.
