  • Water Resistance: This watch is water resistant up to 100 meters (10 ATM). It is suitable for bathing, swimming, or snorkeling. Do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water. 6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning Your Watch

Regularly wipe your watch with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and moisture. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using solvents or harsh chemicals.

6.2 Water Resistance Care

To maintain the water resistance of your watch, ensure the crown is fully pushed in (if applicable, though this is a digital watch with buttons). Avoid operating buttons underwater. If the watch is exposed to saltwater, rinse it with fresh water and dry it thoroughly. Do not expose the watch to hot water or steam, as this can damage the seals.

6.3 Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by one LR44 battery. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is highly recommended to have the battery replaced by an authorized Skechers service center or a professional watch repair shop to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Refer to Section 6.3 for battery replacement.
  • Time is incorrect: The time may need to be reset. Refer to Section 4.1 for setting time and date.
  • Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model does not specify a lock). If the issue persists, the battery may be low, or there may be an internal malfunction.
  • Condensation inside the watch: This indicates a breach in the water resistance. Stop using the watch immediately and have it inspected by a professional.
