Setup

How to Wear

The Baseus Bowie MF1 headphones are designed for an open-ear fit, ensuring comfort and situational awareness. Gently open the silicone ear hooks with your fingers and wear the earphones along the natural curve of your ears. Slightly adjust the wearing angle to ensure they are tilted upward and the earphone's ends fully contact your auricle for optimal comfort and stability.

First Power-On & Pairing

For the first power-on, open the charging case and remove the insulation stickers from the earphone's charging contacts and the guide sticker from the touch area. Once the earphones are placed back into the charging case, they will automatically enter pairing mode. The earphones will also start pairing automatically when you open the charging case after turning them on.

To connect, enable Bluetooth on your phone and select "Baseus Bowie MF1" from the available devices. The earphones can be used as normal once the connection is established.

App Installation & Connection

To install the "Baseus" app, scan the QR code provided in the user manual or search for "Baseus" in your mobile phone's app store. Download and log in to the app. Click the "+" button to search for and add your device. Once added, you can check the current battery level and access various settings.

Operating Instructions

Touch Controls

The Baseus Bowie MF1 earbuds feature intuitive touch controls on the top surface of each earbud. Please refer to the guide sticker label and touch the center position for accurate control.

• Play/Pause: Double-tap either the left (L) or right (R) earphone.
• Previous Song: Press and hold the left (L) earphone for 1.5 seconds.
• Next Song: Press and hold the right (R) earphone for 1.5 seconds.
• Activate Voice Assistant: Triple-tap either the left (L) or right (R) earphone.
• Answer/Hang up a call: Double-tap either the left (L) or right (R) earphone.
• Reject a call: Press and hold either the left (L) or right (R) earphone for 1.5 seconds.

App-Controlled Features

Enhance your experience by customizing settings through the Baseus app:

• Low Latency Mode: Enable or disable this mode in the "Baseus" app settings to reduce sound delay, improving audio and video synchronization, especially useful for watching videos or gaming.
• Bass Enhancement Mode: Enable or disable this mode in the "Baseus" app settings to enhance bass output.
• Spatial Acoustics Mode: Enable or disable this mode in the "Baseus" app settings for an immersive 3D audio experience.
• Find Earphones: Use the built-in search function in the app to find the last known disconnection location of the earphones. You can also trigger a sound from the earbuds to locate them if they are nearby.
• Earphone Settings: Go to "Settings" in the app to rename your earphones and check for synchronous OTA online function updates.

Maintenance

Charging

The Baseus Bowie MF1 offers extended playtime and quick charging capabilities:

• Up to 60 hours of total playtime with the charging case.
• Up to 12 hours of playtime per charge for the earbuds.
• A quick 10-minute charge provides an additional 2.5 hours of playtime.

Charging Case Indicators:

• After opening/closing the charging case and pressing the button on the stand-alone charging case:
• If the charging case power is ≥20%, the white light will remain on for 10 seconds.
• If the charging case power is <20%, the red light will remain on for 10 seconds.

Charging Earbuds with the Charging Case:

• The white light in the charging case will turn off after 10 seconds.

Connecting the Power Supply to Charge the Charging Case:

• If the charging case is fully charged, the white light will stay on.
• If the charging case power is ≥20%, the white light will pulse (breathing mode).
• If the charging case power is <20%, the red light will pulse (breathing mode).

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regularly clean and disinfect the earphones and charging contacts using alcohol and a clean cotton cloth. This will help prevent charging or power issues caused by accumulated dirt.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Baseus Bowie MF1 headphones, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Earbuds not pairing or connecting:
  • Ensure the earbuds are charged.
  • Make sure the insulation stickers have been removed from the charging contacts.
  • Disable and re-enable Bluetooth on your device.

• Sound quality issues (low volume, distorted sound):

Restore Default Settings

To restore the earbuds to their factory default settings:

1. Place both earphones into the charging case.
2. Open the lid of the charging case.
3. Press and hold the charging case button for about 8 seconds.

The white indicator light on the case will flash 3 times and then turn off, indicating that the default settings have been restored. The device will then enter pairing mode.
