4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Urageuxy Weather Station:

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Main Console: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main console. Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
  2. Remote Sensors: Open the battery compartment on each remote sensor. Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into each sensor, observing correct polarity. Close the compartments.

4.2 Sensor Placement

Place the remote sensors in desired locations within the 328ft/100m transmission range. For optimal accuracy and performance, install outdoor sensors in a well-protected area to prevent prolonged exposure to direct rain and sunlight.

4.3 Pairing Sensors

The main console and remote sensors should automatically pair upon battery installation. If a sensor does not connect, ensure it is within range and press the 'CHANNEL' button on the main console to cycle through channels or the 'RESET' button on the sensor to re-establish connection.

Once set up, your weather station is ready for use:

  • Reading the Display: The main console displays indoor temperature and humidity at the top, and readings from the three remote sensors below.
  • Switching °C/°F: Use the dedicated °C/°F button on the back of the console to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit units.

  • Activating Backlight: Touch the light icon on the console once for a 5-second backlight. Touch and hold the light icon for 5 seconds to keep the backlight on for 30 minutes.
