4. Setup and Installation
The LG LW1025RSMX is designed for easy installation in a double-hung window. Follow these steps for proper setup.
4.1. Measure Your Room and Window
Ensure the unit is suitable for your room size and that your window meets the required dimensions.

4.2. Installation Steps
Use the provided EZ Mount installation kit. The unit has a fixed chassis.
- Attach the top and side curtain panels to the air conditioner unit.
- Place the unit into the window opening, ensuring it is securely seated.
- Extend the side curtain panels to fill the window opening and secure them.
- Install the foam insulation strips to seal any gaps around the unit and panels.
- Ensure the unit is slightly tilted outwards to allow for proper condensation drainage.

4.3. Electrical Requirements
