3. Setup Guide

3.1 Base Station Placement

  • Place the base station on a hard, flat surface against a wall.
  • Ensure there is at least 1.5 feet (0.5 meters) of clear space on both sides and 5 feet (1.5 meters) in front of the base station for optimal robot navigation.
  • Avoid placing the base station near stairs or obstacles that could block the robot's path.

3.2 Initial Charging

  1. Connect the power cord to the base station and plug it into a wall outlet.
  2. Place the robot onto the charging contacts of the base station. Ensure the robot is properly aligned.

  3. Important Wi-Fi Note: The NARWAL Freo robot vacuum and mop combo supports 2.4G Wi-Fi networks only. If your router supports both 2.4G and 5G, it is recommended to switch your smartphone to the 2.4G Wi-Fi network during the initial setup process to ensure stable connection. Refer to your router's manual for instructions on switching Wi-Fi bands.

3.4 Preparing for Mopping

  1. Fill the clean water tank in the base station with water.
  2. Insert the provided floor cleaner into its designated slot in the base station. The system will automatically add the cleaner in the correct ratio.
  3. Attach the mop pads to the bottom of the robot. Ensure they are securely fastened.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Freo Mode
