Thank you for choosing the VAXCANZE VAX-HCV 350W Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner. This manual provides essential information for the safe operation, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new vacuum cleaner. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.
Important Safety Instructions
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using this appliance.
- Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
- Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
- Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
- Do not use with damaged battery or charger. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
- Do not pull or carry by battery, use battery as a handle, close a door on battery, or pull battery around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over battery. Keep battery away from heated surfaces.
- Do not handle battery or appliance with wet hands.
- Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
- Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
- Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
- Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
- Do not use without dust cup and/or filters in place.
- Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance.
- Disconnect the battery pack from the appliance before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing appliance.
- Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.
- Store idle appliances indoors.

Assembly Instructions
- Attach Battery: Insert a compatible DeWalt 20V Max Lithium-Ion battery (not included) into the battery slot on the main vacuum unit until it clicks securely into place.
- Assemble Stick Vacuum:
- Connect the Extension Wand to the main vacuum unit by aligning the connectors and pushing until it clicks.
- Attach the Motorized Floor Brush to the other end of the Extension Wand, ensuring it clicks securely.

- Handheld Configuration: For handheld use, detach the Extension Wand and directly attach desired accessories (2-in-1 brush tool, crevice tool, or flexible hose) to the main vacuum unit.

Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off: Press the power button on the main unit to turn the vacuum cleaner on or off.
- Adjust Suction Mode: The vacuum features 3 suction modes. Press the mode button on the LED touchscreen display to cycle through the low, medium, and high suction settings. The display will show the current mode and battery level.

- Using Attachments:
- Motorized Floor Brush: Ideal for carpets, hardwood, and tile floors. The LED headlights illuminate dust and debris for thorough cleaning.

- 2-in-1 Brush Tool: Use the brush for delicate surfaces like upholstery and curtains, or retract the bristles for a wider nozzle.
- Crevice Tool: Perfect for reaching tight corners, gaps, and edges in your home or car.
- Flexible Hose: Provides extended reach and flexibility for cleaning awkward spaces, such as inside a car or high shelves.
- Motorized Floor Brush: Ideal for carpets, hardwood, and tile floors. The LED headlights illuminate dust and debris for thorough cleaning.
- Cleaning Stairs: For stairs, you can use the handheld configuration with the motorized floor brush or the 2-in-1 brush tool for effective cleaning.

Maintenance
Emptying the Dustbin
To maintain optimal suction, empty the dustbin regularly, especially when debris reaches the MAX fill line.
- Ensure the vacuum is turned off and the battery is removed.
- Locate the dustbin release button (usually near the bottom of the main unit).
- Press the release button to detach the dustbin.
- Hold the dustbin over a trash receptacle and press the bottom release latch to open the dustbin flap and empty contents.
- Close the dustbin flap and reattach the dustbin to the main unit until it clicks.
Cleaning the HEPA Filter
The HEPA filter should be cleaned monthly or as needed to ensure efficient filtration.
- Remove the dustbin as described above.
- Twist and pull out the HEPA filter from the dustbin.
- Tap the filter gently over a trash can to remove loose dust.
- Rinse the filter under cold running water until the water runs clear. Do not use detergent.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting it into the dustbin. Do not use a hairdryer or other heating methods.
- Reassemble the filter and dustbin, then reattach to the main unit.
Cleaning the Brush Head
Regularly check the motorized floor brush for tangled hair or debris.
- Ensure the vacuum is turned off and the battery is removed.
- Locate the release tab on the side of the brush head.
- Open the cover and remove the brush roll.
- Use scissors or a cleaning tool to cut and remove any tangled hair or fibers.
- Reinsert the brush roll and close the cover securely.
Troubleshooting
