This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your PHEZEN 9-inch touchscreen car stereo. This unit is designed for Honda Fit models manufactured between 2014 and 2018. It features an Android 13 operating system, 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM, CarPlay, Android Auto, Wi-Fi, GPS navigation, Bluetooth, FM radio, and supports a backup camera.

3. Compatibility Notes

This unit is compatible with Honda Fit 2014-2018 Left-Hand Drive (LHD) models. Please review the following specific compatibility requirements:

• Condition A: Only compatible with vehicles that have both safety warning lights and airbag lights located on the left side of the dashboard. If your vehicle matches this configuration, the unit is compatible.
• Condition B: If your vehicle only has a safety warning light on the left side and lacks an airbag light in that position, this device is not compatible.

4. Setup and Installation

Installation of the PHEZEN car stereo requires technical knowledge and experience with car audio systems. It is highly recommended to seek professional installation to ensure proper functionality and avoid damage to your vehicle or the unit.

4.1. Wiring Connections

Connect the provided wiring harnesses to the corresponding ports on the car stereo and your vehicle's existing wiring. Ensure all connections are secure. The included Canbus box facilitates integration with your vehicle's systems.

4.2. Initial Power On

After installation, turn on your vehicle's ignition. The car stereo should power on automatically. Follow any on-screen prompts for initial setup.

4.3. Screen Calibration

5.1. CarPlay and Android Auto

The car stereo supports both wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. Connect your smartphone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to mirror your phone's interface on the 9-inch screen. This allows access to navigation, music, calls, and other applications using voice commands (Siri or Google Assistant).

5.2. GPS Navigation & Wi-Fi

The unit features a built-in GPS module supporting both offline and online maps. Download offline map data for navigation without an internet connection. Connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot to access online maps, stream content, and download apps from the Play Store.

5.3. Bluetooth & FM Radio

Utilize Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming. The unit includes a built-in microphone and supports an external microphone for clear communication. The integrated FM radio allows you to listen to your favorite stations and receive real-time traffic information.

5.4. Steering Wheel Control

5.5. Reversing Display & Backup Camera

The included backup camera provides a clear rear view when reversing. It features a 170° wide-angle lens, IP68 waterproof rating, and night vision for enhanced visibility in various conditions. The display automatically switches to the camera feed when reverse gear is engaged.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and unit. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Software Updates: Periodically check for software updates through the system settings to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
• Environmental Conditions: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or excessive moisture.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Check all power connections and ensure the vehicle's ignition is on. Verify fuses if necessary.
• Bluetooth Connection Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the stereo and your phone. Delete previous pairing records and attempt to reconnect. If issues persist, restart both devices.
• Wi-Fi Connection Unsuccessful: Manually connect to the vehicle's Wi-Fi hotspot. If the connection is not successful, delete the history record on the vehicle's Wi-Fi settings and then try connecting via ZLINK again.
• Touchscreen Unresponsive/Inaccurate: Perform a screen calibration as described in Section 4.3.
• Backup Camera Not Displaying: Ensure the camera is properly connected. Check the settings for the reversing camera in the stereo's menu. Some OEM cameras may require specific settings adjustments (e.g., changing video output from HD).
• Steering Wheel Controls Not Working: Verify the Canbus box is correctly installed and configured in the stereo's settings.
