This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your iScale P-500S Commercial Scale. 3. Setup Instructions
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Placement: Place the weighing scale platform on a flat, stable, and level surface. Ensure there is no direct wind exposure, as this can affect weighing accuracy.
- Assembly:
- Attach the pole to the weighing platform.
- Mount the display box with the thermal printer onto the top of the pole.
- Connect the necessary cables between the platform and the display unit as indicated in the included installation manual.
- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the display unit and plug it into a suitable power outlet. The scale can operate directly from power or use its built-in 15-hour emergency backup battery.
- Initial Power On: Press the power button. The display should light up and perform a self-test.
- Calibration: Your scale includes a calibration certificate. For any concerns regarding accuracy, refer to the detailed calibration instructions in the separate installation manual or contact customer support.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Weighing
- Ensure the scale is powered on and displays "0.000".
- Place the item to be weighed onto the center of the stainless steel platform.
- Read the weight displayed on the LED screen.
4.2 Tare Function
The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or packaging, so only the net weight of the contents is measured.
- Place the empty container on the platform.
- Press the TARE button. The display will reset to "0.000".
- Add the items to be weighed into the container. The display will show the net weight of the items.
4.3 Weight Slip Printing
The built-in thermal printer allows you to print detailed weight slips.

- Single Package Print: After weighing an item, press the PRINT button (or equivalent, refer to display unit buttons) to print a slip with details such as company name, address, serial number, date, time, and weight.
- Multiple Package Print (M+ Function):
- Weigh the first package.
- Press the M+ button to add the weight to memory.
- Remove the package and place the next one. Repeat the process for up to 18 packages.
- After weighing all packages, press the MODE button (or equivalent) to print a combined weight slip for the entire lot.
4.4 Liter Mode
The Liter Mode allows you to measure and print weight slips in liters, suitable for liquids or products measured by volume.
- Press the MODE button repeatedly until "Liter Mode" is indicated on the display (or refer to specific button for Liter Mode).
- Place the liquid or volume-measured product on the scale.
- The display will show the measurement in liters. You can then print the slip as usual.
4.5 Reprint and Reports
The scale can store up to 999 transactions and generate reports.
- Reprint: Use the MR button (Memory Recall) or navigate through the menu to access saved transactions and reprint specific slips.
- Reports: The scale can generate date-wise and slip number-wise reports for detailed record-keeping. Consult the full installation manual for detailed instructions on report generation.

5. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the stainless steel platform and display unit with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Ensure no liquids enter the display unit or printer.
- Battery Care: The scale has a 15-hour emergency backup battery. For optimal battery life, keep the scale plugged into electricity for continuous use. Only rely on battery backup during power outages.
- Printer Maintenance: The thermal printer requires no ink or refills, making it cost-effective. Ensure the paper roll is correctly installed.
- Durability: The scale features a rust-proof powder-coated metal body and a stainless steel chequered platform for long-lasting performance.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the scale in a dry, clean environment.
