Setup

1. Fueling the Lighter (Butane Refill)

  1. Ensure the lighter is completely cool before refilling.
  2. Hold the lighter upside down.
  3. Insert the nozzle of a butane gas canister vertically into the refill valve located at the bottom of the lighter.
  4. Press firmly for 5-10 seconds. Repeat 2-3 times for a full refill.
  5. Wait at least 2 minutes after refilling before attempting to ignite the lighter to allow the gas to stabilize and reach room temperature.
  6. Note: Overfilling can cause gas leakage and potential hazards.

2. Flint Replacement

Specific instructions for flint replacement are not provided in the product description. Generally, Ronson flint lighters have a screw at the bottom or side that secures the flint spring. Unscrew this, remove the old flint, insert a new Ronson flint, and replace the screw securely.

Operating Instructions

1. Ignition

  1. Open the lighter cap (if applicable).
  2. With your thumb, firmly roll the flint wheel downwards to create a spark.
  3. Simultaneously, press the gas release button (if separate) or ensure the flint wheel action also releases gas.
  4. A flame should appear.
  5. Release the gas button/flint wheel to extinguish the flame.

2. Flame Adjustment

The Ronson Varaflame Mini Lighter features an adjustable flame. Locate the flame adjustment screw or lever, usually on the bottom of the lighter. Use a small screwdriver or your finger (depending on the design) to adjust the flame height:

  • Turn towards the '+' symbol for a higher flame.
  • Turn towards the '-' symbol for a lower flame.

Adjust gradually to achieve the desired flame height. Avoid excessively high flames for safety.

3. Fuel Gauge Window

Your lighter is equipped with a fuel gauge window. This transparent window allows you to visually check the current butane fuel level, helping you determine when a refill is needed.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Periodically wipe the lighter with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Flint Wheel: Keep the flint wheel clean and free of debris to ensure consistent sparking.
  • Storage: Store the lighter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure it is empty of fuel if storing for extended periods.
