Setup
1. Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the stethoscope. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the digital attachment and plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The indicator light will show charging status.
2. Installing the Eko App
Download the Eko App from your device's app store (iOS or Android). Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and pair your Littmann CORE Digital Stethoscope via Bluetooth.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the power button on the digital attachment until the indicator light illuminates to power on. Repeat to power off.
2. Switching Modes (Analog/Digital)
The stethoscope can operate in both traditional analog and amplified digital modes. Press the mode button on the digital attachment to toggle between these modes. The digital mode provides up to 40x amplification and active noise cancellation.

3. Adjusting Amplification and Noise Cancellation
In digital mode, use the volume buttons on the digital attachment to adjust the amplification level. The active noise cancellation feature automatically reduces unwanted background noise for clearer auscultation.

4. Using the Double-Sided Chest Piece
The stainless steel chest piece features a dual-frequency diaphragm with both pediatric (1.4"/3.4cm) and adult (1.7"/4.3cm) sides. Rotate the chest piece to select the desired side for examination.

5. Eko App Functionality
Once connected to the Eko app, you can:
- Visualize: View real-time heart sound waveforms.
- Record: Capture and save auscultation sessions.

Maintenance and Care
Cleaning
Regularly clean your stethoscope to maintain hygiene and performance. Use a 70% isopropyl alcohol solution or a mild soap and water solution to wipe down the chest piece, tubing, and eartips. Ensure the digital attachment is not submerged in liquid. Always allow components to air dry completely before use.
Storage
Store the stethoscope in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and harsh chemicals. Avoid tightly coiling the tubing to prevent kinks and damage.

- No Sound/Poor Sound Quality:
- Ensure eartips are properly sealed and facing forward.
- Check that the chest piece is rotated to the active side.
