Setup
1. Charging the Headset
Before first use, fully charge your OpenComm2 2025 Upgrade headset. Use the provided USB-C charging cable.
- Connect the USB-C end of the charging cable to the charging port on the headset.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The LED indicator will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour.

2. Pairing with Your Device
The OpenComm2 2025 Upgrade uses Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless connection.
- Ensure the headset is turned off.
- Press and hold the Power/Volume+ button for 5-7 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, or PC), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "OpenComm2 2025 Upgrade" from the list of found devices.
- Once connected, the LED indicator will flash blue intermittently.
Operating Instructions
Headset Controls
The headset features intuitive buttons for easy control:
- Power/Volume+ Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to increase volume.
- Volume- Button: Short press to decrease volume.
- Multi-function Button:
- Single press: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
- Double press: Skip to next track (during music playback).
- Triple press: Skip to previous track (during music playback).
- Press and hold: Activate voice assistant.
- Mute Button (on boom mic): Single press to mute/unmute the microphone during a call.

Making and Receiving Calls
- Answer Call: Press the Multi-function Button once.
- End Call: Press the Multi-function Button once during an active call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Multi-function Button for 2 seconds.
- Mute/Unmute Microphone: Press the Mute Button on the boom mic during a call.
Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the Multi-function Button once.
- Next Track: Double press the Multi-function Button.
- Previous Track: Triple press the Multi-function Button.
Multipoint Connection
The OpenComm2 2025 Upgrade supports multipoint pairing, allowing it to connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
- Pair the headset with the first device as described in the "Pairing with Your Device" section.
- Turn off Bluetooth on the first device.
- Put the headset back into pairing mode (red and blue flashing LED).
- Pair the headset with the second device.
- Turn on Bluetooth on the first device. The headset should now be connected to both devices.
- To switch between devices, simply play audio or answer a call on the desired device.
