3. Setup and Operation

3.1. Inserting a Bit

  1. Select the appropriate S2 steel bit or socket for your task.
  2. Insert the bit firmly into the 1/4-inch magnetic bit holder at the tip of the torque screwdriver. The magnetic holder will secure the bit in place.

3.2. Setting the Torque Value

  1. Locate the adjusting wheel at the base of the screwdriver handle.
  2. Pull the adjusting wheel downwards to unlock it.
  3. Rotate the handle to align the desired torque value on the main display screen with the red line indicator. The full circle of rotation corresponds to 10 in-lbs. The scale is clearly marked in 1 in-lb increments.
  4. Once the desired torque is set, push the adjusting wheel upwards to lock it in place. Ensure the wheel is fully locked to prevent accidental changes during use.

3.3. Applying Torque

  1. Place the screwdriver bit onto the fastener.
  2. Apply steady, continuous pressure and rotate the screwdriver clockwise.
  3. Continue turning until you hear and feel a distinct "click" sound. This indicates that the preset torque value has been reached.
  4. Stop turning immediately after the click to prevent over-tightening.

4. Maintenance
