4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB cable connected to a power source. The indicator light will show charging status.

4.2 Inserting a Micro SD Card

Insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the designated slot for local video storage. Ensure the card is inserted correctly.

4.3 App Installation and WiFi Connection

1. Download the companion application, JXLcam, from your smartphone's app store (Google Play for Android or iOS App Store for Apple devices).
2. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. This camera only supports 2.4GHz WiFi.
3. Power on the camera using the ON/OFF switch.
4. Open the JXLcam app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code or connecting to the camera's temporary WiFi hotspot.
5. Once connected, configure the camera to join your home's 2.4GHz WiFi network.

4.4 Mounting and Placement

The camera's compact size and magnetic base allow for versatile placement. Use the included stand or magnetic features to secure it in desired locations.

• For optimal surveillance, place the camera in an area with a clear view of the desired monitoring zone.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the ON/OFF button to power the camera on or off. The indicator light will confirm the status.

5.2 Recording Modes

5.3 Continuous Loop Recording

When a Micro SD card is inserted, the camera supports continuous 24/7 loop recording. Once the memory card is full, the newest files will automatically overwrite the oldest files.
