Maintenance

Switch Replacement

The Redragon K714 features hot-swappable magnetic switches, allowing for easy replacement or customization without soldering. Use the included keycap/switch puller to carefully remove switches.

1. Gently pull off the keycap using the keycap puller.
2. Insert the switch puller's prongs into the two clips on the top and bottom of the switch.
3. Press the clips firmly and pull the switch straight up.
4. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and press down firmly until it clicks into place.

General Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your keyboard. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps. For stubborn dirt, gently wipe the keycaps with a damp cloth and mild soap solution, ensuring no liquid enters the keyboard.
