1. Important Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions carefully before using the KEENSTAR Electric Meat Grinder. Retain this manual for future reference.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the voltage matches your power supply. Do not immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids. Always unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.
- Personal Safety: Keep hands and utensils away from moving parts during operation. Never push food with your hands; always use the provided meat pusher. Keep children away from the appliance.
- Food Preparation: Avoid grinding meat with bones, large tendons, or skin, as this can damage the machine or cause jamming. Cut meat into small pieces (approximately 1-inch cubes) before feeding into the grinder.
- Overheat Protection: The appliance is equipped with an automatic built-in circuit breaker to prevent the motor from overheating. If the motor stops due to overheating, unplug the unit and allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes before resuming operation.
- Appliance Care: Do not operate the grinder with a damaged cord or plug. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

- Screw the fixing ring onto the grinder head clockwise until it is securely tightened. Do not overtighten.
3.2 Attaching the Grinder Head to the Motor Unit:
- Align the assembled grinder head with the opening on the front of the motor unit.
- Insert the grinder head into the motor unit and turn it counter-clockwise until it locks into place. Ensure the locking knob on top of the motor unit is engaged.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Preparing Ingredients:
- Ensure meat is free of bones, large tendons, and excessive fat.
- Cut meat into small pieces (approximately 1-inch cubes) that can easily fit into the feeding tube.
4.2 Grinding Meat:
- Ensure the grinder is properly assembled with the desired grinding plate.
- Place a bowl or container under the grinder head to collect the ground meat.
- Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet.
- Turn the ON/O/R switch to the 'ON' position.
- Place prepared meat into the feeding tray and gently push it down the feeding tube using the meat pusher. Do not force the meat.
- After grinding, turn the switch to the 'O' (Off) position and unplug the appliance.

This image illustrates the versatility of the KEENSTAR Electric Meat Grinder, showcasing three distinct textures of ground meat achieved using the included 3mm, 5mm, and 7mm grinding plates. Cubed meat is visible on the feeding tray, and ground meat is shown exiting the grinder.
4.3 Using the Sausage Stuffer Attachment:
- Assemble the grinder head with the sausage stuffer tube in place of the grinding plate and cutting blade. Secure with the fixing ring.
- Prepare your sausage mixture.
- Slide the casing onto the sausage stuffer tube, leaving a small overhang.
- Turn the grinder to 'ON' and feed the sausage mixture into the tray, guiding the casing as it fills.
4.4 Using the Kubbe Attachment:
- Assemble the grinder head with the kubbe attachments in place of the grinding plate and cutting blade. Secure with the fixing ring.
- Prepare your kubbe mixture.
- Turn the grinder to 'ON' and feed the mixture into the tray. The kubbe attachment will form hollow tubes.

4.5 Reverse Function:
If the grinder becomes clogged during operation, turn the ON/O/R switch to the 'R' (Reverse) position. This will reverse the auger's rotation to help clear the blockage. Once cleared, switch back to 'O' (Off) and then 'ON' to resume grinding.

This image highlights key operational features of the KEENSTAR Electric Meat Grinder: the ON/O/R switch for power and reverse function, and the locking knob that secures the grinder head to the motor unit.

This diagram outlines the recommended cleaning procedure for the KEENSTAR Electric Meat Grinder's detachable parts. It shows the auger, cutting blade, grinding plates, and other accessories being cleaned in warm, soapy water, emphasizing that the main motor unit should not be submerged.
6. Troubleshooting
Refer to the table below for common issues and their solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Grinder stops during operation or jams. | Meat is too tough, contains bones/tendons, or too much meat is fed at once. Motor overheated. | Switch to 'R' (Reverse) to clear blockage. If motor stops due to overheating, unplug and let cool for 30 minutes. Ensure meat is properly prepared and fed slowly. |
| Unusual noise or vibration. | Parts are not assembled correctly or are loose. | Turn off and unplug the unit. Reassemble all parts, ensuring they are securely tightened. |
| Meat is not grinding efficiently. | Cutting blade is dull or incorrectly installed. Grinding plate is clogged. | Check if the cutting blade is installed with sharp edges facing outwards. Clean the grinding plate. Consider replacing the blade if it is dull. |
| Appliance does not turn on. | Not plugged in. Power outage. Overheat protection activated. | Check power connection. Verify power supply. If motor overheated, allow to cool. |
