1. Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use. Keep this manual for future reference.

Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 330.7 lbs (150 kg). Exceeding this limit may cause instability and injury.
Ensure all screws and bolts are securely tightened before use. Periodically check and re-tighten as necessary.
Do not stand on the chair.
Use the chair on a flat, stable surface.
Keep children away from moving parts during adjustment.
Avoid exposing the chair to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures to prevent material degradation.

2. Package Contents

Verify that all components are present before beginning assembly. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact customer support.

3. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your VINGLI Home Office Desk Chair. Assembly typically takes 10-15 minutes.

Attach Casters/Feet Pegs to Base: Insert the five casters (or optional feet pegs) into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base. Push firmly until they click into place.

Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the star base.
Attach Mechanism to Seat Cushion: Align the mechanism plate with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Secure with screws and washers using the provided Allen wrench. Ensure the adjustment lever faces the front of the seat.
Attach Armrests: Secure the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Note that armrests are removable for flexibility.

Attach Backrest: Align the backrest with the mounting points on the seat cushion and armrests. Secure with screws.
Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring it is centered and stable.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Height Adjustment

To adjust the chair's height:

To raise: While standing, pull the lever located under the right side of the seat upwards. The seat will rise automatically. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.
To lower: While seated, pull the lever located under the right side of the seat upwards. The seat will lower. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.

4.2 Tilt Function

The chair features a tilt mechanism for reclining:

To recline: Pull the same lever (used for height adjustment) outwards. The chair back will now allow for tilting.
To lock upright: Push the lever inwards to lock the chair in an upright position.

4.3 Swivel and Mobility

The chair offers 360° swivel for easy rotation.
The silent casters allow for smooth movement across various floor types.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning: For PU leather surfaces, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For suede or microfiber, use a dry brush or a specialized fabric cleaner.
Hardware: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability.
Casters: Keep casters free of hair and debris to ensure smooth rolling.
Storage: Store the chair in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight when not in use for extended periods.

6. Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
Chair does not adjust height.	Gas lift not engaged or faulty.	Ensure the lever is pulled correctly. If the issue persists, the gas lift may need replacement. Contact support.
Chair is wobbly.	Loose screws or uneven assembly.	Check and tighten all assembly screws. Ensure the chair is on a flat surface.
Casters do not roll smoothly.	Debris in casters or damaged casters.	Clean any hair or debris from the caster wheels. If damaged, replace casters (5 extra feet pegs are provided as an alternative).
